"Perfect! Quiet, clean, and comfortable with extra touches that show interest in guests relaxing. Would be even more enjoyable for us in warmer weather, when we could relax on the deck or in the yard. A picturesque area with an old barn up the street. We would love to stay here again. Also, check out the nearby Little Apple Orchard and Cidery. A quiet and relaxing spot five minutes by car. "

"I really love this house. Clean, well-maintained, the kitchen's stocked with all the cookware and utensils that myself and my guests could want. The property is secluded and peaceful, the views are absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time it doesn't really feel like it's "in the middle of nowhere." Great Barrington nearby has plenty of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, and we checked out a few hiking trails nearby as well. Alan's a great host, friendly and communicative, and his welcome booklet and notes left around the house answered most of my questions before they even came up. My second stay won't be my last!"

"I'd describe the house as elegantly eclectic. The owner is clearly a collector of interesting items which they arrange in a way that enhance (rather than potentially clutter) the interior. The kitchen and living spaces are open and easy to mingle around. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms easily and comfortably accommodated two couples and two singles. Our stay could not have been better! "

"This was one of the most-special and memorable experiences my wife and I have ever had with a VRBO property and Owner. I had recently received a devastating medical diagnosis causing us to think about forfeiting our stay for 3 nights. After not checking in the 1st night, we decided to call Frank and let him know why we had not checked in but that we changed our minds and wanted to come for the last 2 nights as we needed the solitude and peace that his property on the lake might provide us. He called me himself and was most-gracious and understanding and offered us a full refund. When we declined his generous offer, he offered to have us stay a complimentary extra night or 2 as he wanted to help us and have us experience the special peace of the lovely home and the lake.
