The Views are Why You Book and why it's great: Vacasa needs to manage the property better.
Glorious sunrises over Lake Tahoe. Fabulous HOA beach access. Location is great. VaCasa management team is clearly very frugal and stretched thin. Bare bones kitchen. 2 towels per bathroom. 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Propane grill had NO knobs attached and was in disarray so our grilling goals were shot. People who stayed before us had stacked trash in garage and despite reporting it on day 1, we lived with garbage in the garage for 5 days. Broken blinds and screen door reported by previous reviewers remain broken. Paying a bunch for this property location would make more sense if the property were better cared for.

First disappointing stay and it was a doozy
We booked this stay for a family reunion. We are all older adults and booked this home for its hot tub that two guests needed for physical therapy. Hot tub was unusable, filthy and needed a thorough cleaning/service. We planned a BBQ for first night only to find a dilapidated and unusable gas grill. Sheets in one bedroom were dirty, so guests changed linens. Stinky, wet bath mat was found in washer and a load of towels were in dryer. There was broken glass on floor in kitchen that a guest stepped on (no shoes allowed in house), and dead bugs in light fixture above dining table. Trash all around house outside and trash can was full from last guests. List goes on… Manager came on day two and was very apologetic and explained he was severely understaffed. Helped with hot tub, so we got 1/2 day use during stay. I have 4 calls into Vacasa, but have not yet heard back from them. Never have we had a bad experience before this, so I hope they fix everything before they rent this house out again.

Amazing experience with friends
Had everything we needed for a great experience with friends. Views of the lake plenty of balcony and deck space hot tub was a plus. Private beach was super clutch. We stayed Oct 8-10 so slow season ended up having whole beach to ourselves.

Great stay all in all
Great property, that kept us accommodated during unfortunate timing with the smoke from the fire. Only bummer was no ping pong table as advertised.

Beautiful home
The pictures don’t lie, this is a beautiful home that suited our family very well. The home was clean and well appointed - plenty of towels for a large group, for use after a dip in the hot tub, and some beach towels to take with us to the secluded HOA beaches. No AC but plenty of windows and, at the time we went, a nice breeze could be felt when the windows were open. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of quality cookware, traditional coffee maker, K-cup, toaster and your other typical kitchen appliances. WiFi was strong though cell phone coverage was a little weak for AT&T, stronger for Verizon. Close proximity to the HOA beaches (North and South) but parking is limited. Walking is feasible but it would be downhill to the beach and an uphill return. We brought our own paddle boards and kayak that we were able to launch from the beaches. 30 minutes to South Lake Tahoe - we spent some time at the Tahoe Trout Farm, Magic Carpet mini golf, and Camp Richardson’s Corral for horseback riding. There were plenty of hiking trails nearby which we enjoyed - Sugar Pine Point State Park was a nice easy hike with beach access. We had some issues which required contacting the property managers. Ability to text made communication very quick and they were very responsive. Resolving our issues took more effort and some were not addressed/resolved.
