On the main level of this home, you will find a beautifully laid-out open concept living room and dining room area. With large floor-to-ceiling windows, the living room is the perfect place to relax and soak in the amazing views of Lake Tahoe. In the summer you can enjoy the large deck area with outdoor furniture and BBQ (not available in winter months) creating the perfect space for entertaining. In the winter you can curl up next to the cozy fireplace and enjoy one of Tahoe's famous sunsets from the comfort of your own living room. Downstairs you will find an entertainment area with large flat screen tv, fireplace, and access to a second porch overlooking the lake. Finishing off the downstairs is two bedrooms, an additional sleeping area, and a full bathroom. The first bedroom looks out over the lake and has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two full beds and a large closet. Lastly, the additional sleeping area has a queen bed and a door outside to a quaint and quiet sitting area with a small table and chairs for the summer, the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.

The view at this house is definitely a main feature but there is so much more to enjoy. This home is surrounded by endless hiking and biking trails in the summer and has access to two private beaches offered by the Rubicon Homeowners Association. In the winter this home is a short drive from the slopes of Homewood Resort, one of Tahoe's best ski resorts.

ABOUT THE AREA
Rubicon Bay is located on the majestic West Shore of Lake Tahoe in an area known as the “Gold Coast.” Positioned just south of Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, this area is known for its seclusion. The sun-drenched sandy beaches and awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe have kept visitors coming back for generations.

Choose the difficult but rewarding Rubicon Peak Trailhead at the back of this neighborhood, or take a short drive to Meeks Bay Marina or D.L.Bliss State Park for alternate hiking, biking, and snowshoeing options. Homewood Mountain Resort is only 8 miles North, proving you can have seclusion and convenience.

This home is not in South Lake Tahoe. On a summer day, it may take a 30 minute drive, but renters should note that in winter months, the highway between this home and South Lake Tahoe often closes.

POLICIES AND DISCLOSURES:
1. Maximum daytime and nighttime occupancy is 6 adults, excluding children under six (6) years of age. Sleeping Arrangements for 8.
2. Parking for 2 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round. Garage is excluded from the rental. Used for owner storage.
3. 4WD is strongly encouraged in the winter months.
4. This home is not equipped with cable, has app-based LIVE TV.
5. BBQ is seasonal and will not be available in the winter months.
6. The downstairs fireplace is a pellet stove, guests will need to provide their own pellets to use it.
7. There is construction of a new house being built directly below the property noise is to be expected. Please contact us for more details. (Summer 2024)
8. The use of ANY outdoor fire pit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.
9. Homewood Mountain Resort, located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, will not be opening for the 2024-25 ski season. Please plan accordingly.

El Dorado County Regulations:
1. Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
2. Occupancy is limited between 10 PM and 8 AM.
3. Maximum occupancy is enforced at all times.
4. Any violations may result in a fine.
