My friend and I stayed here in mixed dormitory for 4 days. Looking for its location wasn’t hard as it was just straight from the Y13 access of the Main Station. When we got there, the hostel didn’t look quite so appealing. But when we got in, we were in awe they could design a quaint place like that. The dormitory, however, was a bit small for 6 different sized people/foreigners to go around in. Also, their wash area kept on running out of tissue paper.
Breakfast served was fine if you enjoy light meals in the morning since they offer breads, spreads, and ham & eggs. Sadly though, being a coffee lover that I am, their coffee machine was unavailable. But they have different types of tea, if you prefer that offer coffee. The pantry area felt home since you cook your own food and prep them yourself. It’s also a nice place to socialize with other guests of the hostel.
The staff was friendly and helpful especially Gina and another girl who we forgot to get the name of. They speak and understand English, so communication was easy.
My kids and i enjoyed our short stay with the hotel every staff was very much accomodating and kind...I strongly suggest the hotel to my friends and the rest of my family
The single ensuite room is just the right size for a solo traveller. My only complaint is the lack of shower curtains so the bathroom floor gets wet very easily.
Cheap but really nice and comfortable hostel with convenient access from the Taipei Main station. Warmly welcomes you even though you might arrive late.
I stayed in a twin ensuite bunkstyle with my friend. The AC was cold, shower was hot and the rain shower was a plus! The bed was comfortable enough and warm comforter. The only downside was that the curtain on the window in the bedroom was quite translucent and the early morning light was quite bright. In the lower bunk there was no curtain on the window and it was hard to sleep in past 6:30 am.
lobby area for chilling out is very spacious, clean and neat. You can make new friends there.
Room is clean and neat.
between Taipei main station and Zhong Shan station. (nearer to Zhongshan station though)
both walkable distance.
it's also a less than 10mins walk to ningxia night market, which is a food heaven.
however, for single lady traveller, do note that the route to hostel at night is very quiet and secluded. hence, need to be careful.
otherwise, all is good
A cozy nice hotel in a quiet lane near to ningxia night market. Starbucks is in near distance and their is a morning market near buy that sells plenty of good food. Very accessible if you come by the airport route MRT, walking distance of 8 minutes. If you are tired of crowd and noisy Ximending, then this hotel provides a clean, nice environment that is still in city area near to Ximending and Taipei main station but not noisy and crowded.
The hotel space we had was nice and neat. We liked in particular the shampoo and soap thst they provided. Seems really nice. The stuff were helpful in a way thst whem we needed directions, they were more than willing to help.
Overall the stay was good. Close to the night market and the train from the airport. Good for people who want some peace and quiet and I even saw families come and visit.
