Nice hotel, very spacious room. It is about 5 min walk to the MRT station. The area is a bit away from the main core, it is more quiet and relax while still have good options for shopping and dining.

A must repeat!!
I had a 2 week trip in Taipei and stayed in 1 x 3 star, 2 x 4 star and a 1 x 5 star hotel. Overall, Grand Victoria had the best service and I believe value for money. Front desk was polite and courteous. They really go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. I had to ask to use the business center for printing documents and needed cardboard boxes for transporting, both demands were met with exceptional speed and great service. I am very satisfied with my stay, despite it located near a shopping mall and the skytrain, the room was quiet and clean. On site restaurants provide a fine selection and quality meets 5 star standards. I would recommend the hotels.com option of including the breakfast, much cheaper than buying directly from the hotel.

The Grand Victoria Holet’s location was very convenient for public transportation, shopping, and good restaurants within the hotel. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities. And the hotel staff was fabulous!

It was centrally located to both shopping belt that has wide choice of eateries, as well as located near the MRT Jiannan station. Best part is that it is just 15 minutes walk to Meiti Riverside park to enjoy my evening walks

First experience was better but it was still decen
A while back we went to the Victoria specifically for my daughter to swim all day and had a phenomenal experience, however didn't upgrade for the breakfast. This time in a whim, weather was good and we had a day to burn in April, so we booked on Hotels.com and upgraded for the breakfast. And we found out afterwards that although we had three people that it only included two people's breakfast. It wasn't a huge deal but we figured we'd ask. One of the staff basically explained that it's common sense that the third person pays extra, a nine year old kid. We figured we'd pay and probably never go back but when we checked out, a staff with higher authority made the call and comped it saying next time we need to pay but this time it was on them. Being in the service biz as well I would have done the same thing and I think they made the right move. So yes we will go and try again but the pool was closed so, call ahead if you wanna use the pool. It was pretty rough when my little girl was all pumped and in her swimsuit and ready to go but wasn't able to swim. Granted I should have called ahead. Anyways call ahead if you are gonna swim.

Good location to malls, f
Have stayed here numerous time for work and it's always a pleasant stay. Close to Miramar and Carrefour. Comes with selected complimentary minibar item which is rare for hotels. Prices can fluctuate but still worth the price for the value. Front desk service is excellent
