This hotel is conveniently located behind Raohe Street Night Market although you cannot hear anything from the market itself. If you enjoy walks and / or runs along a river that option is also available to you. The hotel is also walking distance to Xinyi during which you can explore more of Taipei and its many markets. Hotel staff are friendly and always available on hand to help where needed.

Pros: - close to night market - 3-5 minutes walk to subway station - modern design with great river view at additional cost - daily housekeeping - shuttle service available but we took the subway instead Cons: - bath towels are in replaceable condition with holes in them - toilet was clogged during 2/3 of our stay - entrance is right in front of a street with motorbikes constantly passing, sidewalk on the other side - only one chair in the room, wish there was one more in the double room - weak AC even when turned on 16C

Great service, walking distance to night market
As others have mentioned, this hotel is located walking distance to the night market. The staff is excellent, super friendly, and the place seems well kept. It’s a bit smaller than I expected, however, for the price, it’s great value.
