We reserved for 10 nights. June/25 at 8 pm arrived at hotel to check in, me my daughter and my mom we had reserved 2 rooms. He gave us 1st floor, we requested higher floor. He insisted 1st floor is also very good and nice view. When we entered the room, smelled heavy cigarette. I try to open the window knob broke. I called front desk about the smell, they send someone to spray the curtains and floors while we were standing there. When I came to open the window the door knob broke. As far as the window knob will be fixed tomorrow because needs parts. Came next day they send someone but unfortunately was not able to fix it. 6th day when we were having breakfast a lady approached us and asked us how everything was, when I told her about the room smelled like heavy cigarette she told us That 1st floors are for smokers, which he never asked us if we were smokers or not. None of us smoked, I explained what happened when we were checking in… She offered to change our room immediately, but since only 2 days left we refused her offer because of packing and then unpacking just too much hassle! House keeping was great and their everyday breakfast was also amazing… 2-Stars are for house keeping and Breakfast.

It’s a mixed bag
Overall our stay was fine considering we mainly used the hotel to sleep. Bed was comfortable and I really liked the rainfall shower. Free water provided daily and so is room cleaning. The beds are quite strange tho. If you sit upright, they move forward. The headboard is not attached to the bed itself. Windows are quite thin so you can hear a lot even though we were on the 6th floor. This isn’t a complaint since we were so tired from the day that we didn’t notice it much in our sleep! Breakfast is average. Not much day to day variety but it’s ok to start the day. egg options. Cereal. Fruits and veg. A few pastry options and bread/toast. Word of warning about the swimming pool. You need a swim hat. If you don’t have one, they charge you 400TL per hat. Jacuzzi is for 16year olds and above Gym is basic and the sauna and steam room are as expected 100$ for deposit. A few restaurants nearby and Taksim square 7/8 minute walk so the location is good. The view however. Not so great. Lots of burnt/demolished buildings.

Loved to stay at the Titanic hotel !!! Very clean , easy shopping around , a lot of dining option , in center of Istanbul yet very quiet at night , shuttle to airport just in front of hotel . Definitely would like to recommend to anyone who instead to spend time in traffic would like to enjoy this amazing city to stay at this hotel

Good location
It is in a good position with easy walking distance to Taksim square. Two major downsides in this stay - the bed was broken with slats missing under the main section (we only stayed one night and got in late before leaving at 3am so couldn’t change rooms). -the air conditioning didn’t work well The first time we stayed there was fine so it was disappointing that the final stay was a fail.
