Established resort in quiet area.
It’s a nice place. No bungalows or high class stuff but friendly and has all facilities. Communication is a bit haphazard. Food is good, plenty of quality cooking. Generous buffet breakfast. I would have marked the resort excellent In all aspects except for (a) lack of English speaking staff on reception, (b) ours was the smallest room and lacked a table/chairs inside, (c) no facilities for yoga but plenty of garden space, (d) no afternoon tea (!). We liked it here and extended our two night stay to a further week. Excellent value.

We were there last week 3rd october for three nights as it was monsoons session restaurant was not fully equipped with the meals we wanted totally understand as staff were always there too help in any way they could

Good Value and Decent hotel
Good Value for money pleasant hotel and nice pool and hotel surroundings Although near a beach if you need to go to the main part of Khoa Lak its a few miles away but there are enough nice restaurants and beaches nearby including coconut beach but would recommend hiring a motorbike which is only around "200-250 baht (£5) a day General Manager Wuthipong was extremely professional and helpful

Would say it's ok. We've been there in rain season, so not even there but in whole Khao Lak was nothing really to do. Hotel is quite away from anything, maybe three restaurants near by and that's it, otherwise you need to get a taxi to Khao Lak which is around 10km away. Beach near the hotel was really dirty and unswimmible, but again it was raining few times a day. Rooms itself were clean but musty and with a bit of smell, but it's quite normal in Thailand, but they were spacious and with nice tarace. Housekeeping was doing a great job, every day cleaning was really detailed. The prosperity needs a little bit of renovation and care. Also checking in was a bit different then usuall, normally if you book with hotels.com you just need to give you're passport and it's all good, here we needed to sent the confirmation to reception as they didn't have it, so it took a little bit more time, but still without any problems.

Enjoyable Stay
An enjoyable stay at Palm Galleria. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast although simple was more than enough. Beautiful pool! Short walk to the beach near the hotel and and you can use a bicycle (for free) to get to other beaches along the coast. Overall the hotel and grounds could do with general matinience and refurbishment would do the hotel a world of good.

Pleasant stay but it was expensive for what it was
Room was very large and could easily accommodate two adults and two children (ages 11 and 13). Cleaned very well each day. Pool was nice and easy 2 minute walk to beach. Nothing special and given price expected more. Staff were friendly. no issues really.

Nice hotel far away from town
Please be aware that there's no hot water in the shower and worst still the water comes out murky and yellow and with residue. Rooms with bugs n roaches but what do you expect when u are living in middle of where. Other than that this hotel is a nice stay

Reception area, and pool area are really nice looking. Rooms are large, and tidy. Outside lighting poor, especially for rooms furthest from the pool. The rooms look a little tired, although we saw some rooms being repainted. Grounds seemed a little untidy, mowing only next to the footpaths (not the entire lawn). And the ponds looked dodgy.

Trash was left about the the grounds (old paint brushes, plastic bottles, broken dishes) sheets were never changed in the 4 days we were there. I broke a glass in the bathroom and it was never replaced but they tried to charge us for it anyway.O Tne young woman who worked the front desk seemed to try to please the customer but the manager acted as if he could care less. When we complained to him about our room and stated that we were promised a view of the ocean but had a view of a run down cement block wall his reply was, "you booked with Expedia didn't you?" when we replied yes we did. He said, "there is nothing we can do" It was a horrible experience from beginning to end!!

it was just ok. The hotel needs better maintenance though and breakfast was disappointing. Better upkeep would make a huge difference as the location was really great for us, it is more natural than other manicured places we stayed at, but it needs a bit of love!

Internet was not included and was expensive, then the quality of the service was poor. It is a long way from everything, so unless your looking to get away from it all, I would have to say stay closer in.
