Totally misrepresented condition of rooms on website. No tv???!!!! Wifi wouldn't work in rooms even though staff said it should. Had to argue to get extra towels.

A wonderful place to stay on the banks of the Susitna River. Breathtaking view of the mountain range on our clear blue sky day. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The town is fun with friendly people, amazing food and lots of activity choices. The local museum is terrific!

From the outside the inn seemed antiquated but the room was excellent, the staff was greatn we enjoyed taco Tuesday, and had great recommendations on local activities.

The rooms are pretty dated but clean. Hotel is attached to a bar, so not family friendly. It is located with a short walk to the river and has one of the best views of Mount Denali. Staff is ok but not great nor super friendly either. Town of Talkeentna is pretty good with lots of places to eat.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not the fanciest place to stay, but a good value and the location next to the river is nice. The only downside was it would have been nice if they had real coffee in the rooms instead of just instant coffee.

This inn had gorgeous views of the river and of Denali in the distance. It was right on the water’s edge. In addition, we loved how it was walkable distance from all the stores, activities, and restaurants. It does have more of a rustic feel, with older carpets and furniture. However, the room and bathroom were very clean and we had a nice stay. I would just say don’t come expecting a posh and chic bed and biscuit type stay! You will be getting a very authentic Talkeetna experience!

Basic comforts, almost like a hostel but with more privacy and quiet. Many climbers, on their way up or after their assent lodge here. Fascinating conversations can be had. Overall, a friendly and laidback atmosphere.
