Loved the quiet solitude and opportunity to get in touch with Nature (and our bellybuttons, by relaxing and not worrying about work, etc.). The property was clean and tidy. We enjoyed a fire with other guests at night. Highly recommend if you need a great and quiet get-away for peace and relaxation!
The property management was great and very welcoming. Ownership was wonderful as well!
We loved the quite cabin with a perfect bed to relax and enjoy our 3 night stay.
The owners are kind and available for any issues. I will just say that my husband broke it, not me.
We will definitely be returning to enjoy these cabins another time.
The lodge exceeded all my expectations. Angie was a super nice host on property. The lodge is well ecquiped and recently built. Highly highly recommend it.
I loved this little cabin in the woods. It was perfect for our overnight stay before heading on to the next phase of our trip. Just sorry I didn't have time to sit and enjoy the screened in porch. I appreciated getting texts with check-in instructions, etc. There was a grocery close by, so we went to their deli and bought some items for supper and breakfast the next morning This eliminated the need to drive all the way to Talkeetna to dine. I would definitely choose this place to stay again.
This is a stunning property that is beautifully maintained. We want to come back for a longer stay when we can explore the wonderful trails around the property and immerse ourselves in Talkeetna Denali climbers culture. We took a beautiful walk out to Montana Creek along a well-marked forest path. The spawning salmon were beautiful to watch as they skittered across the creek surface.
A warm and welcoming, beautiful, family with gorgeous children (Granny eye candy) run the resort with perfect efficiency and communication. Thank you for a truly beautiful Alaska stay.
Our cabin was fantastic! The cabin was very close to town. We really enjoyed our stay, we had our first wildlife siting - a porcupine. There were several places to eat in town. We would stay again.
This was a great little cabin for our family of four. The small kitchenette was great for making breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. The only negative was that there was no inside table to eat at. There was a sceened in porch with a little table but it was rainy and cold during our stay, so we didn't use it. We had fun exploring the short trails to the creek and even saw a couple salmon.
Thus is a more affordable option than staying right in Talkeenta. Talkeenta is just 15 miles up the road.
We only stayed 1 night but really enjoyed our walk to the creek to see salmon, snores with the owners and visiting with other guests around the campfire.
They were even nice enough to let us store the fish we caught in the freezer.
We would definitely stay here in the future.
