Simple property built in the 1930's. We will stay there again. Note: WiFi yes, but no TVs. Which was okay by us.

Genuine old Florida excellent place
Amazing day and night in a throw back from the late 30’s in old Florida. The most amazing views, rooms and wildlife …. Boat trip was cool and would have gone again if we’d have had time :-) was really cool we stayed In the room after an author katlyn jones ! The whole world of southern hospitality and charm takes you back to a bygone era. Loved the music in the dining room 😊
We stayed three nights at the beautiful Lodge in Aug 2024. Unfortunately our car broke down one evening, and we were stranded on the side of the road. We called the Lodge and Laura at the front desk came and rescued us in her own car, and even recommended a shop to have it towed to. She, and the rest of the staff, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and really went above and beyond to be helpful at every turn. What could have been a nightmare situation was salvaged and turned into the best trip of our lives! It was a long-awaited adventure that we had been planning for years, and I'm beyond grateful that they we were in such good, capable hands at the Lodge. 10/10 highest recommendation! We will definitely be back!
Lovely historic property with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the room and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Recommend taking the River Boat Tour if you have time.
Nice area, enjoyed the boat tour. The room was OK no TV and nothing to do there. Dinner was just ok and it seemed that server had way too much to do as it took forever. Opened the blinds and found the window screen hadnt been cleaned in years, looked like a dryer filter. Front desk staff were great.
Beautiful setting on the Spring with woods all around. Quiet setting with very kind staff. Cruise on Wakulla River was great and only 8 dollars per person. Room rate is pretty cheap but appropriate for age of facility. The relaxed feel of the place is wonderful. The staff is friendly and professional. My only minor complaint is the restaurant which is not bad but priced a little high for a place that cant serve warm potatoes at any meal. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and beautiful nature spot try Wakulla!!
All the amenities that went with 1930-era high end wealth coupled with a state park offering the Old Florida environment. Breakfast and dinner (lunch too if you like) at the main dining room is memorable as is the Jungle Boat Ride. Great staff too.
Charming historic hotel. So historic there was no TV in our room. The elevator is old school too. The food and service at the restaurant was very good and the front desk employees were great and helpful. We loved swimming in the springs and my son enjoyed jumping from the platform into the river. We also took the fabulous boat tour where we saw gators, manatees and many birds.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Definitely my 'go to' hotel going forward when I have to travel to Tallahassee. The half an hour drive is worth it. The only negative was the fact that there was a street light just outside my room window and the window shades didn't block the light very well.
This is an amazing place to stay. The history Of this hotel is really cool to experience. They have.
Different times to ride the boat to experience Wakulla Spring. I one hundred percent recommended.
