The room itself was OK. The building is very old and has very few upgrades. They don't have a restaurant, the elevators are very old and take a long time to move from floors. The carpeting on the floors is smelly and some of the amenities in the room are old and lack appealing. We stayed only because the were no other options in the area for the State Cross Country Finals.

Property was out of keys, so staff member had to walk you to your room anytime you wanted to re-enter your room. Desk associate said my room number, as well as that of another guest, out loud with other guests waiting to be taken to their rooms in the lobby-huge security issue. Room seemed clean, but was sticky with humidity.

Room was dirty. Stran stains on curtians. There waa also dust and smudges in various places in the room. The AC was also loud and had trouble keeping the room at a consistent temp.

No hot water. Was promised a discount, but did not receive. In fact, the morning clerk was making a list of who asked for a discount instead of giving everyone. Still didn't get it anyway. Water had been out for at least 2 days. In room phone did not work (said half the room phones didn't work) so had to walk all the way to front desk to speak to staff. WiFi on unsecure network, unsafe to use. Didn't want to take risk. I would not recommend them to anyone.

NO HOT WATER

We DID NOT even check in; the property had no hot water, and had no clue or timeline when the hot water would be repaired. I will not be paying this bill and I absolutely assume Hotels.com will not fight me on this refund since we were i formed by hotel staff that Hotels.com HAD been informed of the issue previously (and of course we received no notice at all).
