Book a hotel near Tamba Sports Park, Kyotanba

"Perfect walkable location, right next to all the shopping and beautiful canal area. Some temples just a 20-30 minute walk or bus ride away. The staff were amazing, spoke pretty good English and were extremely helpful. The room was a good size, clean, with a view of the street. Surprise bonus, we could watch our Netflix account on the TV so we weren't stuck with the 5 boring local channels they offer otherwise. Tried their lunch buffet once, it was decent, had an English menu, with something for everyone and at a fair price considering it's a hotel restaurant. If you care about security features, the elevator required you to scan your room key before taking you to your floor. If you're a smoker, they have a small room (fits maybe 3-4 people comfortably) on the bottom floor. This hotel was perfect for our needs, we stayed for 4 nights and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Kyoto. "

"Excellent. Super fast check in and check out. Easy to forward our luggage from the hotel with the help of staff. Buffet breakfast in Japanese style (few Western options) was a delicious and varied way to start the day. Our room was so tidy when we returned from sightseeing it felt like my mom cleaned it. 10/10 for cleanliness of rooms and hotel. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Bathroom and shower were wonderful with instant hot water and strong water pressure. Even though the hotel is a couple blocks away from the train station, the street is quiet at night. Can’t wait to return. "

" Excellent services, good communication (English and Chinese), nice hot spring, updated facility and room. Its location is convenient, about 8 minute walk to Kyoto station, and 400 feet from several major bus routs. Our 280 sq room is spacious. Bathroom and toilet are clean and top notch. Hotel lobby has coffee and matcha tea. Hot spring (no charge) has free ice cream. The only issue is that the hall way upstairs (4th floor) is too hot, feeling like >80 F (25 C)"
