I had to leave because of Hurricane coming into Tampa. I paid for 8 days and left 2 days early because of Hurricane. No fault of my own. This place refused to refund me 2 days but instead charged me for an extra day. pathetic!!!!!

When I arrived to check in the front desk had no computer system so they were doing manual check ins. After 30 minutes I was given room 253. About 8ish I needed to return to the room and find 2 older men with keys to Room 253! This has never happened to me. They were confused about the room because they had just gotten there. I went to front desk and I couldn’t believe that he was scolding me because he checked me in when no computer so I told him I wanted some type of compensation for this huge inconvenience! Our personal belongings were there and I didn’t feel safe! After he took the keys from them then I told him this was very scary for three ladies!

Tv didn't work. Tried to call front desk, phone didnt work. Breakfast was between 630-930am. No food was put out. At 830am, the managers or owners came and put food out because of the complaints, then kicked everyone out at exactly 930am.

Room didnt seem like it was cleaned well from previous guests. Dirty shower, sink, and sheets didnt smell as clean as hotels normally do. Felt like the photos were a little misleading on the rooms. Hurricane kind of put a damper on my trip which isnt their fault. Alarm clock wasnt working. Hotel bar/restairant had very limited hours which was unfortunate as I wanted to try their food. Pool was definitely a positive note. Overall it wasnt worth the price and at the end of my stay after paying for an extra night before my original booking (which i did appreciate the accomodation) they tried to get another $4 a night from me which was never mentioned to me at check in. As i said that they gave up trying to get the extra $16. Never had a hotel try and do that. Exercise room was also very tiny.

Not happy with stay
We were very disappointed in room .There was no door on bathroom so there was no privacy .We took a shower after a concert we were at all afternoon to find our shower would not drain .It filled up the floor of the shower and almost poured out of area onto the floor .So there was no second showers after this .It was very noises as well.I would not stay here again.

Overall good
Overall, stay was good. With the exception of the side back door by the pool area did not want to close securely and no parking on Saturday night anywhere near our room because of the restaurant that’s attached to hotel.

Manager was rude and didn’t want to refund due to a system error which they agreed and after my company cancelled our conference due to weather they refused to accommodate my stay! Then the manager advised he would allow me to stay after me driving back to Ellenton to drive back and they refuse to allow me to stay stating during the conversation I said I’ll call my bank and the manager took it as a “Threat” he said. David the GM-Rude and hung up multiple times in my face! Amy-After getting approval to stay she then tells the front desk agent on the shift after not to approve per GM and advised not to rent to me. Just overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
