Nice base for park action.
Stayed here as it was next to Busch Gardens. Arrived early in the day and make sure it was ok to park early and check in later. They said no problem, and let us fill up on coffee and water before walking over to the park for the day. The front desk staff was super friendly. The room was very comfortable and nice looking. Most importantly, the beds were very nice after a long day of walking around. Breakfast was ample with many choices of cooked foods. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Mold & Bedbugs
We are still waiting on a refund from them. We walked into the room and you first of all get smacked in the face with the smell of mold. It’s on the walls and ceiling growing. There’s an actually water pocket in the ceiling that’s hanging. We always check for bedbugs because that’s not ever something you want to deal with.. well we found them this time. The lady at the front desk was very nice but we are still waiting on a refund that we were promised.

Nice budget hotel next to Busch Gardens
I was evacuating from a Hurricane, so I was not picky. It was a decent hotel for the price. Busch Gardens is across the street, so it would be a convenient place to stay if you were on vacation and on a budget. There are a few locally owned restaurants in walking distance, and they were pretty good.

They have painted over an old beaten down property. For the first time ever myself and especially my young daughter felt unsafe and nervous in the hotel. The door didn't close properly, you could see daylight out the botttom half of the door. It was rundown and beat up, with paint over top of everything to try and make it look nice. There were people including a young child yelling and screaming well after midnight and throughout the night. I was glad to get out of there as quickly as possible. Upon check in, i walked up to the desk. The man and women continued to chat as i stood there!! I waited to see how long it would go on. I finally said "Helloooo?" As in, do you not see me?? Standing here? And the guy looked at me with sunglasses on. I couldn't see his eyes. Anyways, I would NOT recommend and it was not great. The beds were ok, and we managed to sleep a little and then got out quickly.

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The only issue I have is that while walking to my room it smelled like urine and very strong smell. Once I got my room one of the bed covers and sheets had red stains on it; also, the towels had dry red stains that looked like blood. The fridge wasn't working and the microwave buttons wasn't working neither. It was really noisy at night seem like tow trucks driving around the property not sure. Also, a guest was smoking substance right outside our room which cause the the smell to enter right into our a/c into our room and cause the whole room stink. Our last night stay, we got home at 2am, and our room key card wasn't working. The area is but stretchy. Overall, wouldn't stay here again only if it is a emergency and nothing else was available.

The location of this hotel is convenient for those looking to visit Busch Gardens, however I felt completely unsafe. The door couldn’t close all the way and the peephole was too dirty to recognize anyone outside. The room smelled like dirty water and our bed sheets were wet. We saw a tiny roach running across our floor. At 12 am, a stranger knocked on our door 3 times. In summary, location is convenient but not clean nor safe.

Hurricane? No problem, no relief.
Storm knocked out power at 9PM -- so NO AC! Power restored at 5:55AM to a hot, humid, muggy, musty, moldy-smelling room -- very difficult to get a good night's sleep there! Asked the manager (female) for some reimbursement for the poor overnight with no AC, and she said "Nope." Enjoy your review, La Cheepo.
