During my families stay we were awakened at 7am to the sound of Hammering and loud machinery in the room right next to our stay. My 3 year old nephew, needless to say, was cranky. The renovation crew was loud and very annoying with no consideration for any of the guest. The hotel crew were apologetic and did offer to comp me one nights stay. The hotel was beautiful from afar. There was noticeable water damage to the common areas and many areas that are in need of major repair. Several areas in the room that need an upgrade.

The perfect getaway if you're looking for a beautiful landscape, peace and quiet. While the property itself is appealing it shows signs of aging. There's a swimming pool though it seems more geared towards competitive swimming.

We came off season so we had the pool to ourselves for two days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed by 5 hours and they let me check out later with no issue.

Very disappointed used to be beautiful!?
Unfortunately I've been staying at that property for a long long time I actually grew up in the area I work for clubcorp in the past and it was a beautiful destination right when it was fully Clubcorp.. not sure if it's still managed by club Corp but it's certainly doesn't look like no frills no service apparently the aerated the golf course which is the only reason why I stayed there so it was closed during my stay first two days did not see any evidence of aeration but the day I left I did notice that it was punched

Great hotel in the country club
Super nice environment. Very quiet. Room was very spacious. Didn’t use the pool but I will next time. Looks great from the outside. Definitely was a great place to rest with the perfect location and easy access to outside facilities.

Nice Resort, Would Stay Again
The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The daytime person at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. It was peaceful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was wonderful. The restaurant was closed on Saturday night for an event, which we were not aware of.

Nice place for a stay out of the normal hotel grind. Older facility could use some refreshers- especially in the bathroom, and Tv. Was bad timing as there was a golf outing and no onsite places to eat. Staff was great and wonderful with everything.

Older hotel attached to a beautiful golf course & country club, including a state of the art health club, tennis courts & swimming pool. Absolutely everyone I encountered was totally friendly and helpful. They treat you like a member of the country club. I’ve stayed here many times in the past and look forward to staying there again on my next trip to Tampa.
