The property was in a beautiful setting and the view of the ski resort was amazing out of our rooms window. I had to get from Kalahari to the resort in the dark and it was not easy to navigate. Once at the resort we stood at the front desk for about 10 mins before the front desk employee came out of her office. You could hear she was watching tv. The hallway to our room on the second floor was very dark. Once in our room it was obvious that this room had not been renovated in about 40-50 years. And detailed cleaning hasn’t been done in a long time either. There was black mold around the ceiling in the bathroom. The faucet in the bathtub hardly worked for the shower. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. Last but not least the cable did not work. Thankfully we could stream shows on our personal electronics. This property has huge potential! It just needs attention to detail. A little updating wouldn’t hurt. The best part of our stay was the bartender in the red. He took out to go order, was very pleasant, and called me and brought my food to my room without me even asking. True professional! He even denied a tip for bringing my food up to our room because he said I tipped enough on my meal receipt. Who does that these days? Kudos to him!

A lot of the fitness equipment does not work, the pool is freezing cold and the temperature of the pool area is not heated to a degree you would be able to swim in a cold pool. The staff was kind.

I will NEVER stay here again!!! Super dirty my room had MOLD and spiders everywhere!!! I checked in and left a few hours after because I couldn’t stay it was extremely dirty & smell horrible!!!! I even took pictures!

The room itself was clean enough, but the bathroom had mold and a broken lightbulb as well as a hair dryer held together by electrical tape. The sauna had names carved all over it. Half of the machines in the arcade were not on. The whole place had a smell. The breakfast server just didn’t show up for work. I did not have a terrible time, but I will not be going back.

The hotel itself was in need of some updating. The staff was excellent. The problem while I was there was there was a group of guests there that were letting their kids run around the hotel all night and day. The kids had stuff all over the halls and in the lobby. The adults were cooking some god awful food on hot plates in the hall way that smelled so bad it made me want to vomit. We left a day early. I said something to the girl at the desk when I was leaving and she did apologize but I felt it was a touch to much for them to let this go on.

The hotel is in need a major overhaul!! We had stayed there 15 years ago and it is now a far cry from what it was!! The lobby had trash and was dirty every time we came in and out!! Most rooms the coffee makers didn’t work, like ours, according to the front desk personnel!! We took ours apart and cleaned and were able to get it cleaned and working!! The staff in the restaurant was top notch as well as the house cleaning staff!! This resort could easily be brought back to its former glory!!

I stayed over night Thursday September 26th 2024 - Friday September 27th The tv in the room that I was originally given didn’t work at all . So I was moved to the 3rd floor. Hair on the bathroom floor, the toilet was dirty. The curtain had a cigarette burn in , the balcony door doesn’t completely close unless you the the stick down behind it . And on top of that I was sitting at the table watching tv and a mouse comes running out from under the vent and ran out under the door in to the hallway. I am highly upset about this . I was creeped out for the rest of my stay . The pool was in a dark basement, spiderwebs on the was and everything

It's the poconos, so you know, everything is a little old as was the place, but it was super clean and the stuff were very nice... It was in a great location and we had a nice balcony view of a beautiful lake... They had plenty of outdoor space, including a nice pool, Chairs to relax and a restaurant with a nice bar. We would definitely stay there again and plan too!

Good stay, staff was friendly, restaurant was good and prices very reasonable, everything was clean. The only thing they need to do is fix the place up a little and it would be a 5 out of 5 for me. The view from the balcony was great. Still a great place to stay. Highly reccomend
