This was a quaint, older lodge/motel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, great recommendations on food. Loved our wood fireplace in our room. Would stay again if opportunity comes up

The included breakfast was OK. The people who worked the breakfast were all lovely. The property is rundown. Our "suite" was poorly air conditioned (noisy and not able to sustain the temperature!). Too few electric sockets, so that extension cords were used throughout. Needs major overhaul. Esp. at $200/night! Was difficult getting around town with all of the road construction. Love Taos, not the motel!

Definitely stay here!
Trip with a friend to do some hiking. We loved the location of the hotel as well as the friendly staff members. Easy to get to our hiking locations each day. A very nice organic market is an 8 minute walk north and you can bring back food and drink to eat outside at picnic tables. Walk south for 8 minutes and you are in the heart of Taos plaza. The free breakfast each morning was outstanding. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Old school lodge- walkable
Great casita in a small cluster of old school lodge buildings. Fireplace in the room with plentiful wood would have been delightful on a colder week, but on this warm week left a strong woody smell in the room. Enjoyed the large grassy, shaded yard with nice Adirondack chairs to spend a couple of relaxing afternoons reading and talking. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.
