Room is alright. No thermostat so gotta adjust temps on widow unit.. room is relatively clean.. had to screw the drain plug back into the tub drain because it was left on the side.. maybe its optional? Sink drain was also missing a drainage plug. None of the three employees at check-in seemed to be happy with their jobs or wanting to be there.. I was offered some burnt cookies though, so there's that.. Just found some small sticky areas within the carpet.. was walking in the room and stepped on something sticky, like gum.. kept walking on the carpet to a minimum because it seemed dirty

Hilton Hotels Are Simply The Best
I’m a long-term member of Hilton Hotels and almost always find them to be top-notch. The Hampton Inn Taos continued that tradition with a quick check in, clean and comfortable room, a quiet evening and a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. Having a maintenance background, I noticed a couple of very small maintenance issues, but the only one impacting me was the ice machine was out of commission – not good for a day when I wanted to fill my mug up for the road. In conclusion, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here next time I’m in Taos.

The staff was great! The property was rundown. The air conditioning was at 89 in the lobby. The hallway and elevator were uncomfortably hot. Breakfast was mediocre. This was barely acceptable if it would have been a $100 but for $200 it was so overpriced.
