This is the first year of rental, so there are no comments yet.
However, previously, I had another similar house that I also rented for 10 years and I had only positive comments, both on the house and the services provided
The villa is located about 0.7km from the very typical medieval village of Taulignan, itself located 5km from Grignan, famous for its architecture, its small streets its castle, the Marquise de Sévigné who lived there a few years and its many cultural events.
The villa is independent without nuisance, a haven of peace in the heart of truffle oaks.
Tastefully furnished, very bright, you will feel at home.
The master suite has a clear view of the large plot of 6500m² and the pool.
Independent, but not completely isolated, you can walk to the village, especially on Friday morning, stand market day.
In the evening, on the terrace in the shade, you will have the view of the sunset and the hills as far as the eye can see.
Feel like a little digestive walk… you can leave the house and enjoy the small paths in the garrigue. And if you are more courageous, a small round trip on foot (or by bike) to Grignan (about 2 x 5 km)
In summer, the swimming pool will be a source of freshness. You will bathe with the perfectly clear view.
Between two dives, you can sunbathe on the wide terrace or in the shade of the poolhouse and trees nearby.
For visits, you will have much choice. Many small Provencal villages will be pretexts for a visit oriented “culture” “history” or “arts”… or simply a little rest on the terrace of a cafe.
Indeed all these villages, including Taulignan, have been able to offer multiple attractions or restorations to please the greatest number.
On Sunday morning, if you are early, you can enjoy the Provencal stand market of Nyons (15km). Many typical products of the region, full of smell and a great atmosphere.
Of course, the historic towns of Orange and Avignon will also be worth a detour.
Orange with its triumphal arch and ancient theatre… impressive!
Avignon, the European capital of culture, …. The list of its attractions would be too long !
