Outstanding property! Staff extremely attentive and professional. Grounds are meticulously kept, calm, beautiful without the crowds and busyness. Well appointed room that is comfortable with the smallest touches that made the stay unique. Will definitely be back- no reason to stay anywhere else!

My wife and I just spent our anniversary here and highly recommended the Island Bay Resort! Sue was such an awesome and thoughtful host and helped make our stay here wonderful! This place was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet and peaceful. The beach was kept very clean and the paddle boards and Kayaks were there for our use at no extra charge. The sunsets at night were spectacular. As soon as you walk out of your little cottage, you’re greeted by water. Steve and Sue couldn’t have been better hosts. They were very helpful in answering any questions I had. If you’re looking for peace of mind and tranquility, this is the place for you. I will definitely be staying here again.

Quiet and tidy boutique property. Great little beach on property, across A1A is a convenience/gas store. Walking distance is a retail center with WinnDixie. Rooms are essentially individual cottage with kitchenette, walk in shower, TV and little front porch. Dock space for a boat, all water amenities and protected lagoon for floating. Tavernier is very quiet and an easy drive south to Islamorada and all the shoppping and dining. Friendly staff and good place to stay for extended time as well

What a wonderful, little tucked away gem!! We had such a great time here, the property is spotless and beautiful, the rooms were perfect in size and beautifully decorated, and the couple who run the property make you feel so welcome and like your family. We rarely left the property, it was so relaxing to sit on the beach, or take the kayaks or paddle boards out into the water, we even saw, sharks and manatees and got to swim with them right at the resort. We will definitely go back!

Island Bay is small quaint resort where the owners make you feel like you’re family from the moment you check in. It’s gated so we felt safe. You are surrounded by tree cover and plant life which makes it quiet even though it’s off the main road. The decor is perfect for the location. We stayed for our honeymoon and we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in the room which was a nice touch! The private beach is very clean and kept up with; the chairs on the beach are comfortable. There are plenty of activities (kayaking, bocce, cornhole, etc.) for guests as well. The dock also has some Adirondack chairs which is perfect to watch the sunset over the water. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again!
