Great stay at the atelier
We enjoyed a great relaxing stay at the atelier at Quinta da Arte; a very individual and lovely place. We loved the property, the pool and the location, great for the mountains and 15min drive to Tavira. Heidi was very friendly and attentive, checking that we had everything we needed, which we did. We look forward to staying again in the future.

A Unique Experience
This property has a very beautiful story and Heidi was kind enough to share it with me. The owner had a dream of creating space to showcase his art and to allow other artists to come together and share theirs as well. Each house (for lack of a better word) was intended to showcase art. Heidi has turned each house into a living space for their guests that showcases many pieces of art. My place had an open concept with a kitchen, living, and dining area. The kitchen was equipped with a mini fridge (with a bottle of wine waiting for me), cookware, and a gas stove. There were condiments available for me to cook with. The expansive property has walking trails and hiking trails and a clean well-kept pool with lounge chairs. Heidi has turned the property into a peaceful space far away from the crowds to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Heidi was very accommodating and even went so far as to share their dinner with me the first night because I arrived so late. I recommend that you arrive during the day, drive a car with 4WD, and bring a Wi-Fi hotspot. It can be a bit tricky to find the location the first time but Heidi can give you clear instructions. This is your place for a unique experience, peace and quiet, and you are looking for a rustic getaway. This would be an ideal place to stay for 30 days or more so you have time to relax and soak it all in. Heidi's positive spirit and her energy are a huge part of what makes this place worth visiting!

We’re missing it already
This was a home from home we truly didn’t want to leave. We arrived at midnight having had everything go wrong on our journey that could have gone wrong - and Heidi still managed a welcoming smile. The studio and the grounds are gorgeous, Heidi is ace, the dog Max is just asking to be smuggled out of the country in someone’s suitcase (mine), and we meant to say before we left how much we had enjoyed living with Johannes’s artwork. I hope we will return.

Wonderful experience
Heidi was a wonderful host, so helpful and welcoming.The location was perfect for us. Heidi provided us with food and drink on our arrival and some great tips on places to visit along the coast. The boys loved the pool and the space and design of the property was amazing. Loved the whole experience. Quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. Great host!!!!!!
When we first stumbled upon Le Attelier, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures Heidi is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The “apartment” is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. Heidi had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The beaches are about 10-12 min drive, good local restaurants. If you really want to have a calming, quiet and memorable vacation, being away from the madding crowd, Heidi’s place is the one.

un très bon séjour chez Heidi et beaucoup de souvenirs
Heidi est très accueillante et sa propriété est hors du commun. Nous n’avions sans doute jamais séjourné auparavant dans un logement avec une telle hauteur sous plafond, un espace aussi spacieux dans lequel on se déplace entre des œuvres d’art qui ne peuvent laisser indifférent, avec une vue directe sur le plan d’eau et ses palmiers magnifiques. La chambre qui donne directement sur des rochers est, certes, un peu chaude au cours de certaines nuits du mois d’aout, mais également superbe.

Genau der richtige Ort um alles hinter sich zu lassen. In einem Traum von Atelierhaus mitten in der Natur konnten wir herrlich runterkommen und total entschleunigt den Tag im Pool starten. Trotzdem haben wir viel entdeckt, da das Quartier sehr günstig liegt. Alles also perfekt Auch die Betreuung durch Heidi trug zu der entspannten Atmosphäre bei. Heimfahren war ein wenig wie die Vertreibung aus dem Paradies

Eine Oase an der Algarve
Wir haben im August 10 wunderschöne Tage im Atelier-Studio der Quinta da Arte verbracht. Die Bilder im Inserat hatten nicht zu viel versprochen, es ist wirklich eine kleine Oase. Man legt sich in den Schatten der Palmen und Erdbeerbäume, hört den Zikaden zu und ist sofort entspannt. Heidi ist immer da, wenn man sie braucht und hilft mit super Tipps zu Restaurants, Stränden, Ausflügen etc. Wir hatten auch viel Spaß mit den Haustieren (1-3 Hunde und eine Katze, alle ganz lieb), die öfters mal zu Besuch kamen und sich gern von uns kraulen ließen. Das kleine Städtchen Tavira (10 min mit dem Auto) ist ein Geheimtipp, den wir vorher nicht auf der Rechnung hatten. Keine Touristenhorden, viele kleine nette Restaurants und Geschäfte und das beste Eis an der Algarve, direkt an der Ponte Romana de Tamira. Danke noch einmal an Heidi und Johannes, wir hatten einen super Urlaub bei euch.

Kreative Oase
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Heidi und Johannes. Das Atelier Haus ist etwas ganz Besonderes - weitläufig, hell, offen. Unser Highlight war der wunderschön angelegte Garten mit unterschiedlichen Sitzmöbeln, Pool, Boule Bahn etc etc. Für unsere Kinder gab es an jeder Ecke etwas Neues zu entdecken. Heidi war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat uns mit wertvollen Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants versorgt. Klare Empfehlung und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Il vous faudra parcourir 1km d'un chemin très compliqué. N'arrivez surtout pas la nuit ! Sur place, pas de climatisation, pas de micro-onde, de lave linge, et le WiFi est payant. Aucun commerce à moins de 10km. La piscine est sympa. Pour les adeptes de sérénité et de grand calme.

We spent one week in this peaceful hideaway surrounded by hills and nature. Our house was spacious, artfully decorated and with view on the hills and on our own pond. On hot days you can enjoy the swimming pool. Our host Heidi is a very kind person. She was always friendly and helpful. Quinta do Arte is 10min drive from Tavira and the beach. Definitely recommended!

Nice and light house with a lot of interesting art objects, great view and quit location.
Heidi is very hospitable. She was very helpful with sending us a clear description finding the right location and she gave a lot of information about the surrounding, interesting places to visit and nice restaurants. It is nice place to sit, relax, enjoy the great view and read books beside the pond. All the interesting art objects makes the stay at this place to a unique and unforgettable experience.

Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire dans ce lieu magique, et nous nous sommes sentis accueillis comme des amis par Heidi la propriétaire des lieus adorable à notre écoute, et qui a permis que notre séjour se passe le mieux du monde... rien n a été oublié dans cette magnifique maison pour permettre aux vacanciers de se sentir comme à la maison... sans oublier un petit clin d oeil pour Leo, le jeune chien de la famille qui nous a fait beaucoup rire et qui a passé un peu de temps avec nous. Un grand merci Heidi, vous avez créé un endroit fantastique que je recommande à tous les amoureux de la nature, des paysages, du calme, de l atypique... ne changez rien surtout vous êtes merveilleuse... sans oublier votre mari très sympathique mais plus discret....on espère revenir vous voir un jour....

Wir (ein Paar) suchten ein Urlaubsdomizil abseits des Massentourismus und haben es auf der Quinta da Arte gefunden. Wir verbrachten 10 Tage im Atelierstudio inmitten von Kunstobjekten. Aber auch die anderen Häuser sind zu empfehlen. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet worden. Die Beschreibung des Inserats trifft zu 100 % zu. Heidi‘s Ausflugsempfehlungen sind sehr gut
