Stayed a couple nights for work and enjoyed my time here. It's quiet in the Winter, but I imagine they're busier in the Summer. If I need to stay in Tawas City again the Bay Inn will be my first choice.

We stayed 6 nights and they dont clean your room till you check out. I said thats ridiculous. The supervisor of house keeping came to our room and cleaned it her self. We really appreciated her for doing this. The guy at the fro t desk said they were shor staffed thats why no cleaning until you check out.

Lighthouse visit with the Girls
At the beginning I was given a room with a king size bed which was not what I had reserved but this was fixed quickly. Thankfully moving us had not caused a problem as I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds for the 4 of us. The staff was very nice, the room was clean and the pool and hot tub were good. Breakfast was cereal, waffles, bagels and English muffins. It also included coffee, tea, and juice.

Made a last minute decision to get a head start on my trip and booked a room at the Bay Inn. Arrived just before 11pm and was greeted and checked in promptly. Room was clean and halls smelled clean. Stay was great, breakfast was a nice bonus and it was pretty quiet. Would stay here again.

I was charged way to much then what i was quoted and he claimed i did not reserve a room. I had my itinerary number and that still didnt make a difference. I will no longer make reservations with them.

Very nice, modern decor in the room. Modern flat screen TV, large bathroom vanity and mirror. Management has thought carefully about the property. Example--iron and ironing board in the room in addition to the hair dryer. The breakfast area was very clean as was the entire site.

Both stairwells had men (staff?) just sitting in the stairwells talking on cell phones for a very long time. It wasn't disruptive or threatening, but just seemed... odd. On the positive side, the room was clean and the towels were extra fluffy.
