About this property

KINGLAS is a charming cabin in a lovely, peaceful location deep in the forest

Nestled in the forest, just minutes from the shores of beautiful Loch Awe, Kinglas Log Cabin is wonderfully secluded and private, with electric hot tub.

This cosy cabin, which sleeps up to 4 people, is centrally heated and double-glazed throughout. Its fully equipped kitchen has a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave as well as a range of utensils and crockery.

The deck, overlooking the forest, is a fantastic place to spot local wildlife – from red squirrels, birds of all varieties, and maybe if you are very lucky, a pine marten around dusk or dawn.

The bathroom has a power shower, W.C., wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Bedrooms are one double and one bunk room with two full-sized bunk beds. Both rooms have ample storage for clothes.

With TV, DVD and CD player, there is no end of entertainment, however step through the patio doors onto the outside deck and you will find what you really came for.

The cabin has ample parking for 2 cars and sits on a large, secluded plot.

The hot tub is available for guests use at extra £109 / stay.

All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. This is a non smoking cabin.

Dogs are welcome (max 2) at £20 each / stay.

Clean and Cozy - Beware of Midges!
The Cabin itself is a small cozy place to stay, clean and tidy however it smelled a little dusty at arrival; easily solved with opening the deck door. The deck door is a little grumpy and sometimes requires some force to close. We enjoyed seeing a red squirrel visit us every morning :) The bathroom was very big and spacious, the shower was large but water pressure was poor. the shower didn't drain well and was prone to getting dirty easily and hard to clean. The kitchen had all the pots and pand you would need, a bbq was provided, and cleaning utensils and dog poo bags were provided under the kitchen sink. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, so had to resort to using shower gel/shampoo to clean hands. The knives provided were very dull and hard to cut with, and the large section of the oven seemed to be broken as it would not turn on. Since we were in the middle of a forest, the midges were a pain, but they are everywhere in Scotland. we recommend lots of bug spray and bug repellents. Loch Awe can be seen just a 5 minute walk into the woods, and There are two 1 hour long walking trails a 10 minute walk from the cabin, with Loch Avich an hour and a half walks away. Again, don't forget bug spray to make sure you don't get any ticks as the grass is long on a lot of the trails :)

Lovely part of the world but shabby accommodation
The log cabin is very small. Kitchen facilities were good but things were broken or didn't work properly and there was faeces on the underside of the toilet seat. The deck was large but very dirty and the deck furniture was really shabby and past it's best. Disappointed and left a day early. Would not recommend this place to anyone else

). Hier erwartet man vom Vermieter bzw.
