"Vey cool property just at the egde of town. Easy 10 minute walk to the market and downtown San Ignacio. The rooms are quaint and very clean. You don't need much a you won't want to spend your time indoors. The area is so beautiful with lots of tropical wildlife. The onsite restaurant was very good. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the pool was really dirty. Not a big deal though. I would definitely stay there again."

"The propery is beautiful - so many plants and flowers and birds. I loved that the room was its own building with a deck looking over the river and hearing and seeing the jungle birds and creatures. The morning coffee and snack basket at the door was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our facials at the yoga deck, the bird watching walk and the food and drinks! Everyone is kind, caring, responsive and helpful. The resort is very ecofriendly - growing food and herbs onsite, encouraging re-usable water bottles, making their own cheese. It felt good to be part of that! Thanks again for a fantastic stay. This was my second time there - hoping to continue the tradition!"

"Beautiful property! Very expensive but was very thankful I got at least one night experience at Gaia. Waking up to the 5 Sisters waterfalls is magical. Especially loved the garden and was very lucky to get a tour from farmer Pat. We also did a night jungle walk and we enjoyed that a lot as well. "
