Lovely hotel with fabulous staff.
This hotel is in a good position to visit teignmouth. The beach and town are close by. Free parking is a bonus. It was all very clean. The hotel itself is a little dated, but our room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained. What really made our stay was the staff. We were made to feel so welcome. We would definately return.

Beds were comfy.. don't book a standard twin room because you will be at the back of the building on the very noisy road..we did and regretted it!.. the hotel wasn't busy from what we could see..so the management could have upgraded us we thought.. not somewhere we would consider going back to unless there was a really good deal to be had..

The property is lovely but in major need of some tlc. The bathroom and water pressure were awful, the shower barely got you wet. Breakfast was cold and of poor quality, also didn’t match the menu, no staff around to ask or clear tables either. We ended up going out for breakfast subsequent mornings. Staff being no where to be found was a regular occurrence, overhead other guests refusing to pay for evening meals as they were inedible. A lot of guests with dogs in the hotel (to the point i felt like the only guest without a dog), didn’t bother me but definitely one to bear in mind.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Hotel very clean but very dated. Staff issues meant they were short staffed anyway and then one waitress had to go home sick which meant the one poor girl on reception doing everything. Reception, bar drinks, restaurant serving. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Very good place to stay if you have a dog. Dogs allowed in bar area and restaurant. Nice location for Dawlish.

Nice hotel but staff made it great.
Pleasant hotel with lovely gardens and a great location as was a lovely short walk to beach and town. Nice room, comfy bed. Clean and warm. Evening meal good and breakfast good. The staff were brilliant though, the lady on reception and behind bar was so efficient and very accomadating.
