This is truly a special, beautiful place. Fabrizio and Maria were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome.
The food is incredible. They really take km0 food seriously, and if they don't grow or make it here at the agriturismo, they know exactly where and whom all of the ingredients come from, and explain the provenance of the ingredients. Not a single dish repeated from either dinner, but both were fantastic. They also have a really well-curated wine list with very reasonable prices, or they'll provide an ice bucket and glasses if you bring your own.
The breakfast is also really special. So many delicious options, with gourmet cookies and homemade cakes, special jams and kinds of honey, fresh figs from the garden, local cheeses, and cured meats, and delicious croissants. Fabrizio will make you a cappuccino if you don't want regular coffee, and they're delicious!
The room was beautiful, enormous, and well-appointed. It seems like it was renovated yesterday - so new and clean. We were so impressed by the style and quality of all of the fixtures and furniture. The bed was really comfortable and the shower had great pressure, and the toiletries smelled wonderful. The A/C worked great!
I would absolutely stay here if I were in the area again. The *only* challenging part is the last bit of road on the way up to the property - it's dirt and bumpy, but if you take it slow and carefully, it's no big deal. There's ample parking and the views make it all worth it!
