Lovely relaxing stay near National Park
Lovely place to stay on the edge of the National Park. We were here for 3 nights to explore the National Park. It was a lovely place to explore. Didn't use the house much to be honest, as we were out walking all day. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. Shower was nice and warm. Host was lovely, approachable and welcoming. Thank you.

The Amazing Casa Vilar
Our stay in Casa Vilar was wonderful! The views from the villa are simply mesmerising, with the Geres hills and a wealth of nature surrounding the property. The place was immaculatly kept and clean and the property manager, Jose, being such a lovely and welcoming person ❤

Beautiful house with a nice view
Lovely stay. The house is a typical house located in a village near the National Park Peneda Geres. Plenty of light and nice garden with a swimming pool. The only point is there is neither blind nor curtains in the major bedroom. The owner is very responsive through WhatsApp.

Zalig verblijf in een huiselijke woning van alle comfort voorzien. Groot verwarmd zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Ideaal was de wc en douche aan het terras. Enig minpuntje was het flauwe licht in de badkamer aan de master bedroom; niet evident voor mannen om zich daar te scheren. Maar badkamers genoeg. We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door José en hij heeft ons alle nodige uitleg gegeven.

Uma fatia do céu perto do Gerês
This is a great house that's far enough from the touristy and crowded area of Gerês, but close enough to drive there every day (~15 minutes). José welcomed us into his family's beautiful vacation house, made us feel at home & was very prompt and friendly when we had some setbacks. The pool is great (heated) and there's a BBQ area that's not very visible in the photos, which we definitely took advantage of! Our dog also loved the garden. We'll be back for sure.

Séjour fin octobre, malheureusement la météo ne nous a pas épargnée. Sinon la maison est bien conçue, le jardin est somptueux, il nous a juste manqué du soleil pour pouvoir en profiter.....

La casa y todos los electrodomésticos y enseres estaban todos muy limpios y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar los días que quieras. La ubicación es muy buena,a poco más de media hora de Braga,a cinco minutos de tiendas y restaurantes y muy cerca del parque del Geres. Y la piscina perfecta para pasar la tarde

Fantastic house with perfect view
Great surroundings in the mountain and close to national park. Shopping also close to the house. Very convenient. House very well equipped. There was all we needed. Very happy we chose the house it was just as we expected and we enjoyed our stay at the house all 14 days we have been there. Communication with the owner was perfect and we got all the help we asked for straight away. Jose has helped us every time we have been in contact and everything was really great. His recommendation for restaurant has been perfect :-) We really enjoyed staying in the house a lot.

Não temos palavras para descrever o quanto adorámos a nossa estadia nesta casa. Esteve tudo 5 estrelas e é o sítio perfeito para recarregar baterias e relaxar. O anfitrião Sr. José Amaro é super amável, prestável e sempre preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Esteve sempre disponível desde o primeiro contacto. As condições da casa são excelentes e a própria casa é única. As vistas são de tirar o fôlego e a piscina é a cereja no topo do bolo. Caso o objetivo sejam umas férias relaxantes e com muito convívio, este é o espaço ideal. Super recomendamos e tencionamos voltar. Muito obrigada. Adorámos.

très beau gîte spacieux dans un cadre de moyenne montagne agréable
Accueil chaleureux de José qui maîtrise le français et déploie toute sa bonne volonté pour que le séjour soit agréable. Merci José. NB : même si nous avons pu nous baigner dans la piscine (Toussaint), je conseille d'y aller plutôt l'été si vous voulez profiter pleinement de la piscine.

Uma boa e mágica descoberta
Habituados a outros lados do Gerês, esta localidade e casa trouxeram-nos a paz e sossego que procurávamos e ainda se tornou uma das nossas preferidas em futuras estadias. A casa é simples(mente) mágica, cheia de conforto e pormenores pensados com o amor de quem sabe acolher. Petfriendly e Kids freindly too. O José foi um anfitrião fantástico, sempre disponível e preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Para quem gosta de pedalar pelo Minho, a zona é fantástica e a subida até Covide permite um bom aquecimento e cycling meditation :) Havemos de nos voltar a encontrar Casa-escola. Até breve :)

We had a wonderful week at the Peneda Gerês. The house is well located and has an awesome architecture: a mixture between old and new. Everything is clean and functioning well. The landlord is very supportive and sympathetic!

Séjour calme et tranquille.
Jolie maison très atypique dans une ancienne école primaire très bien restaurée. Simple mais efficace.. Région magnifique très préservée .randonnée à faire très sympa mais ne pas oublier le dénivelé. Un grand merci à Monsieur Amaro pour son accueil nous étions comme avec un ami c’était vraiment très agréable.
