The cabin was a good size for our family of three plus our big dog. There is a bunk bed and a full size bed. The bunk bed is noisy. If you have an active sleeper like our son, put this person in the lower bunk. Cabin comes with a small fridge, microwave, cleaning supplies, coffee maker with pods, paper plates and cups, small tv with selection of DVDS, and to our pleasant surprise, bottles of water, muffins, and wine!
There are two bathrooms that are a short walk away from the cabin, with toilet, sink, and shower. The bathrooms are shared with other renters on the premise. When we were there, there was one other couple staying in the tree house rental (super cute treehouse!). Cell reception is poor in the area, you have to get back out to a bigger street before getting full reception. On the property, we got one bar if we moved around a bit. But it was nice to disconnect for a while.
There is a wildlife refuge next door with lions and tigers. I don't think it's open to the public, but we could hear the animals roaring. We also heard roosters crowing throughout the day. Added to our fun getaway!
