The Balsam Fir

Located on the right side of our Dome path, the Balsam Fir sits close to our glampsite’s gorgeous Grand Lake waterfront. As the name implies, the geodesic dome is surrounded by balsam fir trees, as well as birch and spruce – so guests benefit from nature’s privacy year-round.

The interior and exterior of Balsam Fir were inspired by the lush evergreen trees that surround all of our domes, and that are a part of New Brunswick’s provincial identity. With calming green furnishings and linens and a quiet outdoor patio, The Balsam Fir is a rustic, relaxing retreat from everyday life.

The Balsam Fir has a loft-style layout with two floors. The main floor, divided into a ‘T’ shape, features living space, a kitchen area, and a queen bed. A set of stairs leads to the generous upper loft, which serves as a large bedroom with 2 twin beds.

Guests staying in The Balsam Fir enjoy a stunning view of the night skies through the rooftop window on the upstairs level.
