They gave my room away even though I was already checked in to the room on the app which is pretty shady. My flight was delayed so I got in around 12:30 AM after walking several miles, just wanting to sleep. Guess they just thought I wouldn’t show up and wanted to double dip? Had to pay another $104 for a new room at another hotel (5 miles away) that I slept in for a total of 5 hrs before my next flight. They are not offering anything except maybe to refund the $104. The new hotel was in a different area so I had to pay $60 for an Uber to the airport instead of using public transport like I had planned on and already paid for (round trip). I have been to over 35 countries, stayed in dingy hostels and motels, and this was definitely one of my worst experiences with lodging.

We were pleased with our stay. We would have preferred to be closer to the tourist area but we booked last minute and needed a place that would sleep 3. It was easy to take the bus into town. We didn't eat or drink here, so I can't comment on that. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was quiet.

It's ok, but you need to pay for everything, including parking and wifi. We had to change room, the second one, despite being exactly the same, felt much more comfortable whilst the first one wasn't, perheps the second one was just redecorated. Breakfast is nice. Location is in the middle of a bio centre for companies. Very quiet.

Room wasn’t cleaned 1 of 3 nights. Parking lot extremely steep and unsafe for lower cars, very tights spots, non-functioning gate caused many delays and all at €17.5/day outside of town! Also no in room coffee or many places to put luggage except the floor. Staff were very friendly though.

Staff let you sit where you like at breakfast. We are a family of 6 that found we couldn’t sit at breakfast with the other guest as couples were taking up booths or larger tables. I asked if a staff member could clean the table so we could have it. Which they did yet another couple come and just took the table. Staff let them do this. Of an evening we placed a food order. They didn’t have a children’s menu however they did cook them pasta off menu. They did forget our drinks with the meal tho.

Hilton Garden inn Leiden is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are gracious and the morning breakfast services are top notch. Would recommend staying there for Leiden visits.

Typical business hotel, but gets all the key things right: comfy beds, large showers with thermostatic valves, clean and modern. Also important for a hotel next to the motorway: soudproofing is excellent. No complaints really - very happy
