The accommodation was probably nice when it was newly renovated but now seems a bit run down and tired, and in need of an update. Worst of all, it is potentially dangerous and life-threatening.
1) It was not completely clean when we checked in. There was an old, wet, used sponge for washing the dishes. There were clumps of old dust under the wire coffee table. The light switches and sockets were dusty. The one plant was dead.
2) Many important details were missing. You enter the lift and have to make a calculation as to which button is for the ground floor, which one for the first floor, etc. You have to use the chairs as bedside tables, as there is nowhere to put anything. The light over the bed is starting to lose its parts. There is no dish rack to dry dishes.
3) The flat is potentially dangerous and life-threatening. First, there is the lack of a door in the shower stall. This means that the floor outside the shower inevitably becomes flooded. A slip and a fall can easily result, with negative consequences. Perhaps even worse, one of the bedside lights is suspended upside-down, hanging by its exposed electrical wires. It's frightening to think that someone (child or adult) could accidentally touch it and potentially get electrocuted.
All of the above is well-meaning, constructive criticism, in the aim of drawing attention to problems and seeking their improvement for future guests. Not everything was negative; hence a score of 5/10. Room for improvement!
