Old wine storehouse with terrace and garden

This former winegrower's house is located in the centre of a historic village. The terrace and garden (with fountain!) are completely private and offer the ideal location for a relaxing start to the holiday day.

Here you are in the heart of a fantastic region, dotted with organic vineyards and picturesque villages. You can swim in the nearby river, but a day by the sea (20 km) is also an option. Enjoy wonderful hikes through the mountains before dining at cosy restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.

The holiday home has comfortable bedrooms and a cosy living room with elegant furniture. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favourite delicacies independently and the presence of a washing machine allows you to travel light.

Parking is not available in the garage. You can park in the public car park, 200 m away.

LARGE CITY CENTRE WINECOUNTRY HOME
Liked: Location central to wine country appellations of Faugeres, Saint Chinian and Minervois. Size of house, kitchen, garage parking , very large partially covered terrace. Very close walking distance from excellent restaurant and boulangerie/patisserie. Disliked: Noise of never ending two stroke motor bikes charging up into the village in the late afternoon until 10 PM every day we were there. It was overwhelming, startling and unnerving. We were constantly in the middle of a motocross event . Stairs. We entered on the ground floor, 22 stairs to the living area and kitchen, and another 20 stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Must note we are in our 70’s and YMMV.
