Everything was good my problem was it said it had a hot tub and it did not. We had been driving for 12 hours and main reason we stayed there was we wanted to stay somewhere we could relax in a hot tub before bed so we were pretty disappointed.

So Hampton Inn at Rockland was great. Loved the room layout, comfy bed, fab shower and I loved the window blinds instead of curtains or drapes. Kitchen area was good but the coffee maker could have been bigger…and maybe a paper towel holder would be useful. As for the breakfast, it might be better with a few more tables and lighter weight chairs. There were people sitting on a couch to eat and drink hot coffee without a table. Great place though and I’d stay again in future.

The bed was ok. The TV was awful!! Kept shutting itself off after ten minutes on channel 8. Voice was shaky on all channels. The picture shook on all channels. The front desk was very helpful with anything we asked of them. We were in pajamas for tv watching so we never called about the tv.

The lobby and rooms were clean and my wife enjoyed the pool and exercise room. Some of the staff were a little indifferent. There was a very inconvenient fire alarm that took a little long to resolve.

Ruined Night's Sleep!!
Our stay was lovely until 4:30am when the fire alarm sounded & we were told to evacuate the hotel! Apparently, it was a faulty smoke detector, but it ruined a night's sleep & we could not get back to sleep after we were finally allowed back in our rooms! VERY UNSETTLING & DISRUPTIVE!!
