Girls trip
I love the location near three Rivers. The host communicated excellently, but would’ve appreciated a check-in book with checking information beforehand. Needed a few things in the house like hooks or something to hang her clothes on otherwise great property.

I booked this room for two days while visiting Sequoya NP. We were forced to leave early next morning. Room has been infested with ants. We woke up early morning to find ants in our beds, our suitcases, our clothes and towels. There is no cell signal at the room location.

Terrible experience, avoid this place
The host was surprised to hear that I’m there at 5:30 pm though my check in was supposed to be at 3 pm. He said he can let me in to leave my bags and arrange cleaning fast, but unit was not ready to stay there with my family. I went in and told him that I will not leave my bags there, it was too dirty and I asked him to ensure he does a good cleaning. I came back by 9:30 or so and was surprised by seeing ants everywhere, some bug inside the shelf with clean towels, footprints all around the tile floor, extremely dusty air vents, mold on the ceiling, etc. etc. etc. And that’s after I asked to ensure they do a good cleaning!! I understood that there was no reason to ask for more at 10 pm and just left, slept in the car with my kids - much more cleaner and safe place than this. So I actually NEVER STAYED THERE, I left right away. Next day or later host never offered any compensation though he knew I left. AVOID THIS PLACE. VRBO considered it minor and didn’t refund,. I’m working with my bank now to dispute the transaction because I actually never even used this place/service because it was not acceptable.

The GPS brought us to a wrong location, good thing the owner was nearby, brought us to the house. The house was a bit worn down, we found some ants and other critters crawling out in the bathroom at night but maybe is normal for a country side? Was close to sequoia national park and kings canyon. My husband enjoyed the pub nearby. There is also a library nearby, my daughter loved going there every evening after hiking.
