This hotel is amazing and has it all. It’s so unique and classy and the quality of the building is so rich with quality . All the staff was so friendly and helpful and I have to mention that Daniel went the extra mile for us at checkout. Not one thing to complain about. Room are spacious and so special. We felt pampered. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and satisfying for all folks. I’ll stay there everytime we visit. St Joseph’s Hospital is right next door and Thunder Bay Regional Health Centre is only 54 Kms away. We felt safe in the area, lots of parking and reasonably priced. It’s a gem!

My room was pretty gross, pee drop stains on the bathroom door frames, a pile of dead bugs in the corner, not my hair on the shower walls, blood stains on the pull out couch sheets. I disinfected every surface I touched and slept in full gear so my skin wasn’t touching the sheets. Only reason I didn’t change rooms was because it was the perfect room logistically for my anxious dog. I would never stay here again and I feel like I wasted my money.

The Heritage courthouse was kept in great condition. Even the courtroom has been converted into a ballroom. Unfortunately, the rooms were kept at 72° and could not be lowered and the Wi-Fi was under repair and unavailable. You would think they would offer you a discount for lacking, the service. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best with no apple or orange juice available or hot chocolate.

Very clean. We had the lake view room. I really enjoyed our stay and definitely will choose this hotel again. Other reviews said that the breakfast was limited. But what do you really want for breakfast aside from eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, bread/pastries, cereal, fruits, yogurt? Ahh waffles! Nope, they don’t have it. Boohoo! It was not limited, people are just too picky. The rooms are very clean, even on the 2nd day. The common areas are very clean.

This is a unique and beautiful hotel. Our view of the harbor was stunning. The staff was helpful in many ways. The room was very comfortable. We'd give it an excellent except for these problems that didn't make sense: our hotel phone was broken and reception made no effort to fix it. We didn't have access to cell phone service because we are from the States so that really was a problem. Also, the hotel lost wifi around 3pm of our second day and never got it back (so at least 18 hours?) This was a week day so I don't understand how they could never get it it fixed and they seemed not to care nor made any effort to make wifi available anywhere else in the hotel.

Wonderful heritage property. Lovely old woodwork. My room had an excellent view of the Sleeping Giant. Just wish they had fixed the squeaky floors. I loved everything else about it.
