Negative 20 degrees and NO heat in the room! Couldnt figure out all night what that whistling and humming was from...when i gave up at 530 am and decided to just head for the airport early (the room a frosty 55 degrees faranheit) i discovered that the casing that held the window-closing mechanism had a massive hole in it that was letting all the cold air in! Heater on the wall did not work at all and the casing on it was bent and broken. I would have left the room over the night but was too broken and tired to go through the hassle so i slept with pillows over me, when i did sleep, and towels on me to try to stay a little more comfortable. I wont risk staying here again.

When we showed up, we were told at the front desk that the AC wasn't working, but they were going to bring us a fan. After we got to the room, it stank of cigarette smoke. After 15 minutes, my wife started to get hives. We then went to the front desk and immediately requested a refund and left

This hotel was super clean and safe. I was very impressed with everything. Easy self-parking on site.

The pool was amazing. My room was not. When I let front desk know, I got a, “Well you’ve paid already through Expedia, have a nice day!” I had to throw away about $25 in fruit and veggies I’d bought to eat because the fridge froze it overnight. Not impressed. The air conditioning also did not work. It was sweltering in the room by morning. Opened a window, but that was nothing but marijuana smoke from outside. I’m not familiar with the city to know what the area is like but my friend had a scary experience with police and a gang apparently, when she was just walking to a nearby restaurant for dinner. But did I mention that the pool was absolutely amazing? It was.

Go to our room and there was no air conditioning. We suspected the room next door was selling drugs or something else. They had trash mounded outside their door too. We asked for another room and got one. The hotel felt like subsidized housing project based on clientele. Would not go back. Many other options.

Right outside its sketchy. Too many people hanging outside the front entrance smoking pot, snorting drugs, and asking for money. We had paid $200 the 1st night stay and ended up with a room with a defected AC. The porter came and tried fixing the AC and stated that some rooms have working AC and some doesn't. So they resorted on givinf us a fan. The 2nd time we stayed in this place because it's whats only available, they placed us on Rm 311 and since the AC does not work, I requested to go to a different room: Rm 171. Again the AC does not work and they gave us a fan. The concierge refused to lower down the rate of the room and told me to pick a bone with expedia instead. He also suggested that I am welcome to check out and look for another hotel at 11:30pm with my 3 yr old and a senior traveling with me. Some of the rooms are occupied with people who lives in them and some rooms have electric fans as well. The hotel is equipped with a bunch of electric fans which means that they're fully aware of the AC problem but refused to fix it. If youre in Thunderbay, I suggest to avoid this hotel and find somewhere else where you: 1) would feel safe; 2) vehicle would be safe to park; 3) working AC; and 4) a concierge who is professional in the hospitality business.

One of worst properties we have ever stayed at. Felt very unsafe with unsavory characters inside and outside of hotel. Rude staff. Will NEVER stay at Superior Inn again. Canceled our second night’s reservation. Horrible experience.

We asked for top floor when booking ended up with first floor ,had too prove it as front desk didn’t want to concede .went down to front desk to ask for a few missing items in room said they would bring them , they didn’t show up.swimming pool had two preteens girls swimming I asked where was the lifeguard they said he left for a bit ,was there 30 minutes no one was supervising the pool Terrible place from a management point of view
