Don't overlook this perfect B&B on your NC500 trip
Great overnight stay in a really beautiful house, pleasant host and nice breakfast. Walking distance to superb beach . Eating places a bit limited in Castletown, so book ahead of you can.

A period property but well maintained. Love the elegant decoration and comfortable room. Victoria was really helpful and kind. She waited for our arrival despite it being past her working hours.

A lovely B&B and excellent host.
A little outside Thurso itself but a lovely clean premises and warm friendly welcome on arrival. Eating out in the evening was good in Thurso and our breakfast at this B and B couldn't be faulted. We would stay again if driving this far north.

10/10!! We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The check in was really easy and the host was lovely and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The room was very clean and I personally loved the decor. We had a private bathroom which was also really spacious. Breakfast was a delicious continental and there was the option for a cooked breakfast at no additional cost. Would highly recommend this property and host, will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area again.

The owner was lovely and helpful with suggestions for places to eat dinner. We were given a choice for the type of breakfast that we wished to eat - continental, cooked breakfast or a cooked vegetarian breakfast. Easy walking distance to the local pub, which serves excellent food. The room was comfy, as was the bed. We had an amazing nights sleep. The only negative was that even though the bathroom was for our own personal use, we had to exit our room to use it.

Greenland House B&B on the NC500
Amazing stay at the Greenland House B&B. Our host was professional and attentive to details. Breakfast was delirious. Our room had a private bathroom, it was on the 1st floor (in America we call it the 2nd floor), it was clean and comfortable. The B&B was tastefully decorated and beautifully maintained. It is located on the NC500, easy to find, located near too many tourist attractions and historical sites to mention!

Stayed one night on way to Orkney. Able to check in early. Beautiful property with lots of charm and character, spotlessly clean. Breakfast wasn't the worst but was expecting better given the super high quality of everything else during our stay. Wouldn’t put us back returning or recommending
