The rooms have been upgraded with great aesthetically quaint pretty.The room is spacious and functional, however cleanliness is superficial, there is a serious dust problem, the headboard is made of animal skin that needs dusting and treating. If you have heard of house dust mite allergies you will have a problem here. Secondly the property is in need of an upgrade. The carpets in Lobby, elevator and hallways are FILTHY! Overall experience was good but these issues listed are a serious consideration to look elsewhere if available. If I hear that property management is addressing these issue I would again rate the property as excellent.

Nice hotel. Close to train station. Staff at checkin were great and friendly. The room was small but comfortable. Carpets could be upgraded. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

The standard rooms are beautiful and the hotel overall is really nice. My parents stayed in a standard room and it was lovely. However we were in an economy room due to having a child with us (only rooms that fit 3) and those rooms are more like a one star hotel. No air con, could barely fit into the bathroom and the beds really uncomfortable. If these rooms were upgraded like the rest of the hotel I would stay here again

Be aware. Rooms very small area. We had a double. Bed was about 30cm from wardrobe. Had to turn sideways to go past. We had to put one suitcase in bathroom as no other space. Bathroom was large. Shower good. Complimentary water. Check in lady was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was abundant. Bed was comfortable butbwe had to make it up when we arrived. Restaurant for dinner, walkable had best steak. Close to train station. For one night it was doable.

Great location in center of town. 10-15 minutes on foot from bus station. We even found a laundromat 10 minute walk away. Contrary to what Expedia says, there is a reception desk that's open. Very nice room, regular size for European city hotels. There are nice shops nearby, great gelato place across the street in the Galleria. Herbalist shop on town plaza close to hotel. Heat, A.C., fridge in room. Coffee bar in lobby. Five minute walk to station for Bernina Express.

This property needs big time renovations. It has sweaty smell along hallways possibly due to worn out carpets, poor lighting, no A/C, if you open room windows it is noisy outside, leaking water dripping faucets and shower heads, mold inside shower stall and bidet. Old style Safe box key is missing . Breakfast lady staff very rude, grumpy face. We understand if no comprede English however her facial expressions with her eyes rolling in dismay makes us feel unwelcome when we asked her for coffee 5 minutes before 7 am. No coffee or tea inside room Overall we will NOT recommend this property. Although location is good walking to train stations and Madonna di Tirano
