The cozy rooms are all part of the "Tokyo experience" for me. The clever design made sure I had everything I needed, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Communication in English was a breeze, and with Kuramae Station just a minute's walk away, the city was at my fingertips. The abundance of nearby restaurants and convenient shops made exploring the city a fantastic experience.

I’ve stayed at APA Hotel for many years, and it’s always been my go-to for convenience and budget-friendly private rooms. The location is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, during my most recent stay, I encountered an issue with the TV remote control. I was unable to switch the language to English or cast content from my laptop to the screen. The directional keys were not registering. I called the front desk, and they said they would reset the TV, but after resetting, the issue persisted. I explained that the problem was with the remote, not the TV itself, but it wasn’t resolved. While this didn’t ruin my stay, it was somewhat frustrating not being able to use the TV properly. Aside from that, it’s still a reliable hotel for the price!

The hotel was comfortable and in a good location. Breakfast was to be included however this was at a nearby cafe that only offered sandwiches. I have a gluten allergy so could not eat the food which was disappointing since one of the reasons I chose the hotel was an included breakfast.

Tiniest hotel rooms I have ever seen in my life. The room is suitable only for single persons. Customer service was good. I did not like the room that I was checked in and they immediately changed my room and gave me a room with the most beautiful view of the Skytree. I loveeee the small touches like hair accessories for women, shaving razor, q-tips, toothbrush and toothpaste as well as robes and slippers...that was definitely going above and beyond but not sure if it is enough to make up for how tiny the rooms are especially the bathroom...hotel room also has good AC, Wifi and hot water...train station is about two minutes walk away

The surrounding area was lovely as it was near the Sumida River walkway. It was a distance from commercial activity so it was fairly quiet. Having noticed there were several Apa properties I would choose to stay closer to the commercial hub. I was confused that the hotel advised me as they called a taxi for my return to narita airport an additional 500 yen would be added to the fare. Is this due to the unavailability of taxis in that area? I was assigned room #509, which had a bit of challenge when air conditioners was to be turned on. The bedside control worked intermittently for some reason hence almost everytime i went out and came back in the room, I had to notify reception to turn on the aircon. I loved the 2 windows in the room as it let in natural light, the available reading material in the room was also a nice touch, sadly I did not read about the History of the Apa Hotel and the staff was very helpful.

Great hotel. They offer bag storage facilities (free) and early check in at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice additions in the room eg hair ties and coffee. Right across from a train station.

It is in a very convenient location, on top of the station. The room for one is compact but has everything you need. The shower head is pretty good. Two things I personally don't like: the room (for one person) is smaller, so the AC cold air blows onto the head of the bed, and it gets really hot in the middle of the night because of the heavy duvet. The second thing is that perhaps they need to review the cleaning process. I am sensitive to smells and was not too fond of the smell from the toilet. I hope it can be reviewed and improved in the future.

As for my first time staying at APA hotels, it was amazingly pleasant. The rooms are just big enough for one person if you're going alone. Rooms had everything I need, Air conditioning, hair dryer, bathroom size, and bed just big enough. The hotel is in the open so be aware when its hot and humid, the hotel will be warm. I stayed in the Asakusa area, and so the metro was just across the hotel, which was really convenient. Finally, the staff was exceptional. They were all super helpful and respectful at all times. I had a flight delayed and had to contact them to let them know I would be a day late, which for they replied fast and assured they would be waiting for me, giving me a refund for that missed night. Overall, I will definitively look to stay at APA hotels next time, and truly recommend anyone if they are looking for an affordable and amazing hotel to stay in during their holiday.

A great place to stay for first time tourists. Excellent transport links, the station is literally outside the front door! Friendly and helpful staff, food and drink nearby and good level of housekeeping. The room was a little bit cramped but if you plan to be out for most of your stay then it’s not too much of an issue.
