Hotel is in good condition. Room is big and clean. There is a balcony. However our room toilet stink of pee when we checked in. After they cleaned up next day it was much better. The train station is just a 10 minutes walk away. Easy to go to other part of Tokyo as Shinagawa, Shibuya, Harajuku and Shinjuku is along the Yamanote Line

Overall very nice experience. The only thing I did not like was the spa usage was not very easy. They said I don’t have the card on file, although I checked in with the card. He said I could use it and I had to go back to my room and get another credit card.

This hotel was absolutely stunning inside and out. Room was spacious with 3rd bed ready at arrival. Every spare amenity you could want in the bathroom. Easy 10 minute walk from station. Don’t miss the beautiful japanese garden within the property.

This was my first time in Tokyo, and I must say I can highly recommend the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa to anyone going to Tokyo. The staff was amazing. The room was amazing. The staff made me feel welcome and they were kind and courteous. When I do travel to Tokyo again, I will definitely stay at this location.

Very kind staff, the dining options and the Japanese garden were a delight to have nearby, Shinagawa station is nearby which is great to move around the trains and explore Tokyo. The room seemed a little unkept and may need a little renovation, but the city view from the balcony was pretty great, also the amenities were a plus too.

Calm area hotel to explore Tokyo
Nice hotel, a little bit hard to find at first but well located, walking distance to/from Shinagawa station. Room is big and comfortable. Check-in was not particularly efficient nor friendly.

In a Huge city like Tokyo this is an oasis of tranquillity and peace. The Club Lounge is a joy and the garden , oh ! the garden . The rooms are big and well appointed. There is a 7/11 store in-house where you can top up things you forgot , as well as good food , beer , wine and spirits at great prices . Free shuttle bus to Shinagawa every 20 minutes and from the station connections everywhere! I found the staff a delight and nothing's a problem . The Club staff were very friendly and the views from the lounge of the garden refreshed heart and soul after a day pounding the streets. As in all great hotels it's location , location, location.
