Hotel Niwa is a beautiful peaceful oasis in a HUGE bustling city like Tokyo. It is an absolute gem from the minute you enter. The thought and detail put into the breakfast, relaxation areas and rooms are outstanding. The breakfast is by far the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had, with Japanese and western options available. Breakfast was by far our best meal while visiting Tokyo. The front desk staff are so kind, caring, and accommodating. They even packed us a to go breakfast box with an array of French pastries & breads the day we had to wake up at 5 am for a Mt. Fuji excursion. We will definitely stay here again,
My favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Friendly staff, amazing amenities, and quiet, convenient location near the train stations. My favorite was the complimentary tea every night and massage chairs! I’ll stay here every time I’m in Tokyo.
Rate low on traveler friendliness due to surprising lack of English spoken for a premium facility in an international city; no concierge services whatsoever. Breakfast options very limited.. only huge and expensive buffet or none.
Hotel was right next to the station and very close to Akihabara. Staff was friendly and made everything a breeze. Hotel grounds were beautiful and clean. Had a great stay.
Such a relaxing place to be in the center of a busy city.
Excellent breakfast buffet and great restaurants for dinner.
Friendly helpful staff. Convenient to walk to 3 metro/train stations.
If ever back in Tokyo
Would stay here
The hotel is in a good location with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. Transport is convenient with Suidobashi and Ochanomizu stations within short walking distances.
Downsides are expensive eating in the hotel - breakfast (which is an excellent buffet) but is the only option at ¥4,000 and dinner at ¥6,800. But cafes and restaurants are nearby offering a range of meals and prices.
