Hotel is a bit far from some of the main areas but can be reached easily by train. It is beautifully and connected to second floor walkway that connects to other buildings. If you do not speak Japanese do not try calling the hotel, they only hang up on you. I tried multiple times before my stay to confirm my reservation and each time i was hung up on. I used travelocity to book my stay and called them to confirm which was also not accurate. This resulted in me booking two extra rooms i didn't need. The rooms are small as expected for Japan. They provide toiletries and sleepware if you need it. Bathrooms are not extravagant, quite the opposite, but they are effective and clean.

Biggest catfish hotel of all time. You walk in and the lobby looks nice, the halls and elevator area give a luxury feel but that all ends the second you get into your room. The rooms are old and out of date, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable, and the shower is terrible. I stayed in 4 different hotels during my time in Japan and this was easily the worst. Most hotels have a nice shower area (rainfall or similar) but this one was a shower tub situation with worst shower head I’ve ever seen and terrible water pressure. The tub isn’t even sealed against the wall so likely water gets between wall and the tub and it’s likely molding down there. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows were flat, and the bed didn’t have plugs on both sides of the bed like most hotels do. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff was helpful getting our bags get shipped to the airport. I would never stay here again though.

Our room was very quiet since it was facing away from the train and the hotel was within walking distance to the fish market, a garden, and nearby Gion. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the The Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo Shiodome twice over the past six years. The rooms are very nice and the location is unbeatable to get around Tokyo and the surrounding areas. Walking underground to the subway and train is super.

This hotel had great reviews and they were accurate. It was just what we hoped It would be. Spacious rooms, very clean with all needed amenities supplied. The shower/bath room was roomy and wonderful. The staff provided excellent, courteous customer service. The location near Shiodome station is very central to Tokyo's amazing rail and metro services. Great restaurants and convenience stores are within easy walking distance. The only disapppointment was the gym. It had 1 treadmill, a few (3 -4) weight machines, and mats. And it was located next to the smoking room. Other than this minor disappointment, the hotel is great! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Tokyo.
