The property was what I expected. The Onsen was very nice and well maintained. There was a closet, but no drawers - problem for a longer stay. Good location near Asakusa Sensoji temple and all the restaurants in that area.
Love this beautiful Japanese style hotel. Amazing breakfast. So much variety of Japanese & Western dishes. Best ever. It is near the station but I needed Maps every time for 5 days because a bit tricky to find. Love the old area where it’s located.
Had a great stay here! The onsen was so relaxing but it does close from 10am to 3pm. The breakfast is well worth the price but you don't need to get it everyday. I would suggest trying it the first morning and pay for additional days. There's also free protein-less ramen at night that is unlimited. Free ice cream and yakult drinks outside of the onsen.
The area is great and public transit stations are close by.
The onsen locker room and shoe storage area could be a little smelly after awhile.
Would definitely stay here again!
Amazing hotel and the onsen is absolutely fantastic! Note: partner and I have tattoos. The staff were great with us about it and supplied concealer stickers for the onsen.
Will be returning whenever I am in Tokyo!
Amazing place smack beside the Asakusa temple. Can’t emphasise more on all the FREE stuffs. From 9pm noodles to onsen to free flow ice creams. Went to the bath everyday to enjoy the onsen experience. The hotel staffs also takes sample from the bath almost daily to ensure the minerals are stable.
The area of Tokyo, Asakusa, is probably one of the best areas to be in in Tokyo. There is the Sensoji shrine and the surrounding streets with small shops and restaurants. This is not Ginza, these are smaller stores and restaurants which we loved. The hotel rooms are small but the breakfast is huge! And there is a hot spring ohsen in the hotel which we used. All in all, though this was not the fanciest hotel I’ve stayed at, with the location and the great breakfast, I give it 5 stars.
The moisture from the onsen wasn’t vented properly and thus created mold around the pool area and the choice of food items for paid breakfast were cut to min. and below onyado Nono hotel standards. Not worth the price of 2300 yen/ pp. you can buy better breakfast from ok grocery across the street for half price! I will never come back to this hotel again after I live in 4 different Nono in 18 days during this visit.
Convenient location in Asakusa which offers combination of old historic Japan next to modern shopping. Asakusa Tokyo metro station nearby as are eating places of all kinds and shopping.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It is very quiet in the room, but in a lively pedestrian area. The natural hot springs are really nice. Get the breakfast - it was great. One note - sleep late as the shops don’t open until 10am.
A bit of walk from the stations especially from the Toei Asakusa. A few mints walk to Sensoji and there are many places to eat and shop around. The property has traditional tatami mats all around and it’s a nice feel. The bath was large and I enjoyed the individual tub. It was very relaxing. The breakfast was tasty and many varieties. Over all I enjoyed the stay.
LOVED this hotel. I was teary eyed when checking out. The staff and service was A . It's very close to points of interest, shopping areas and train. A block away from Senso Ji temple, which you have to experience early in the morning before the crowd of tourists. As everyone else noted, you must take off your shoes upon entering and wipe your luggage wheels on the provided mat. Enjoy the house clothes, socks, slippers, toiletries and of course the onsite onsen. Breakfast options are unique and delicious. Ramen at night. FYI noone with tattoos allowed in the onsen (any onsen in Tokyo) but there is just one semi-close that does.
