I liked that they allowed me to store my luggage with them for a few hours after I checked out of my room. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was a little small, but manageable. It is a bit of a walk to the station, especially if you have a lot of luggage with you. You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel.
A great little hotel in a quiet pocket of Shinjuku, of course the rooms and bathroom were very small but we expected this in Tokyo! There is a Lawson convenience store directly across the road which is very handy for snack runs! It is a 10 minute walk from the hotel through a few back streets to Okubo Station, which is one stop from Shinjuku station, and from there you have pretty much the entire Japanese rail system to branch out to! My only suggestion to the hotel would be to provide some butter and jam for the croissants at the free breakfast, and an option for hot tea rather than just hot coffee, and it would be perfect!
Great valued choice. The room is pretty big compared to other hotels' same-level choices, and the staffs are nice and friendly. There's a free simple breakfast option with croissants and cereals provided. Enough for me.
One thing is that the property is a bit far from the JR station, but this contributes to its quiet environment on the other hand.
The sofa is a bit old and has a torn leather surface.
Very spacious clean room. We got a smoking room as nonsmokers and didn’t notice any difference. Staff was extra friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was great unexpected addition. Great window view of Tokyo. Room was cleaned and amenities updated each day. Very quite not noisy at all. So convenient to train lines and local restaurants. I would stay here again.
A nice quiet, clean and budget-friendly hotel wiith close proximity to two train stations. There are also many dining options at great prices within close proximity.
Very clean. Bathroom is smaller than other business hotels. Great AC. A little far from main station but connivence store is really close by. Overall pretty good hotel.
The area surrounding the property is great in terms of safety and convenience as there are multiple stores within a 2 minute walk from the hotel lobby. A Lawson, a 7/11 and a restaurant as well as several vending machines close by for drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. There was a slight language barrier with some employees so definitely be sure to know some basic Japanese so you can make it easier to interact with them. They clean every day unless you ask them not to disturb you, my only complaints would be the constant train sounds as it isn’t too far from a railroad. It’s about an 8-14 minute walk to the nearest train station but there’s also a nearby hospital which means you may be kept up some nights or afternoons by constant sirens driving by. Other than that it was great for the price. Also, fair warning, The breakfast options are limited to cereal and croissants though. The drink selection is plentiful though.
Great hotel with great staff, excellent location. Main subway line (Sin Okubo) is about 5 min walk. In site laundry, continental breakfast included, rooms have good AC. Convinience store right in front.
Typical business hotel. Beautiful Japanese garden and koi pond. Simple breakfast each morning. Fun to watch people on the street below. Quiet neighborhoid convenient to transit, shopping, and restaurants. Excellent, heloful staff. Carpet was dirty in some spits. Bathroom is small - typical of Japanese business hotels.
Great hotel, its geared towards business but is perfect if you just need a comfy place to sleep and rest in beteen sight seeing, your room is also cleaned every day with fresh sheets & towels.
Its a 10 minute walk from 2 train stations so your set to get all over Tokyo.
There's also a lawsons across the street or plenty of other shops in walking distance to grab what you need.
All in all, if your coming to Tokyo to explore then this hotel makes for a great basr camp!
My first few days in Japan were made easy by saying at this hotel. I believe it’s a bag for your buck compared to other sized rooms in Tokyo! It’s a nice 8 minute walk to the closet and one of the most convenient train stations, only a 20-30 minute walk to Shinjuku for a drink!!
The floors were a little dirty but only a minor and not a big issue! I would have liked to stay a few days more however their prices jumped 1.5x.
The breakfast is okay, all you can eat chocolate Cheerios, Frosted Flakes and special K (I think), as well as croissants and orange/tea/coffee.
About a 10 minute walk to two different train stations which is nice. A Lawson across the street and a 7/11 around the corner. The staff was fine only the young guys really spoke English and one of the older guys was kind of rude. Also you are better off getting breakfast at one of the convenience store and skip the cereal breakfast. I would give it like a 8/10.
