Nice and clean property; however, the room is smaller than expected with no closet. The entrance area for access to the elevator to the lobby and hotel rooms has an unpleasant odor. Otherwise, the property is well-kept and modern.

Great location within walking distance to Shinbashi and Ginza station, convenience stores and lots of restaurants right outside. The room was small but by Tokyo standards fairly spacious, only room to hang 4 items of clothing. The king bed was very comfortable and the room itself was quiet. Great, spacious shower. If you have large suitcases you can fit them under the bed which is rare. Free coffee machine and one beer a day was a nice touch. The only negative was the surprisingly unfriendly staff. Honestly, literally everyone in Japan was ridiculously friendly and helpful but the people working here (apart from one, and the cleaners who were very friendly) were surly and appeared to hate their jobs, I’m not sure what happened in the hiring process! I’d still recommend the hotel and would stay there again, just don’t expect the normal Japanese service front front desk staff.

The property is very well kept and clean. The rooms are small like most hotels in this area, but they are clean and have a fridge, small safe and desk. The showers are great and have water almost immediately. I also like that they provide most amenities should you forget to bring something including slippers, toothbrush, razors ect. I do wish the closet section was bigger and they provided an iron but overall we were very happy with the property and it’s location to shopping and trains.

Disappointing
This was our last stop after having been to a few places in Japan. We actually got use to arriving and being greeted by happy, friendly, lovely, polite staff and then we arrived at The B Ginza. With the exception of 3 staff members the rest gave a clear vibe they didn’t want to be there and had zero interest in basic customer service. The eco friendly aspect is non existent with every item wrapped in plastic (do realise this is common for Japan) but to tell me your only making the bed and changing the coffee mugs every 3rd day yet replace the towels daily as an eco friendly idea…. I don’t expect my bed made or fresh daily towels but a clean coffee mug when I don’t have the facilities to do that properly would be nice. There was scheduled water maintenance which we were not informed of until the morning it was occurring and without water for 6 hours. Emergency can’t be helped but this was planned so a polite heads up beforehand would have been appreciated. The hotel is nice, room decent size for Japan, great location for public transport and also a great area to explore. The free pancakes and drink coupons are great but I’d trade it any day for decent staff. I’d stay in ginza again but definitely won’t be at The B

I had a decent stay at this hotel, but it fell short in some areas. The positives: · Charming atmosphere and convenient location · Attentive and kind staff · Enjoyable breakfast in the dining hall each morning However, I deducted stars for the following reasons: · Housekeeping issues: excessive dust and hair in the room, including on window sills, bed, and countertops, despite daily cleaning · Inadequate elevator access: only two elevators for twelve floors, with wait times up to 5 minutes, and no stair access · Limited laundry facilities: only two washer/dryer combos for the entire hotel, with ineffective dryers · Staff knowledge: while friendly, they struggled to provide recommendations for local meals and nightlife I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve. With some adjustments, it could reach its full potential. Unfortunately I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
