VERY POORLY TRAINED STAFF. POOR COMMUNICATION. DO NOT RELY ON THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE.
The rooms were to be expected, well kept, and nicely furnished. The interior of the lobby has been recently updated and welcoming. However, I picked this place and location specifically for the shuttle service to the airport. The front desk person on duty when I checked in was not well trained and had very poor communication skills. I tried to schedule my shuttle service with him, and he told me that he didn't have anyone for the service. I then told him that it was the only reason why I booked this hotel and came with the reservation. He then asked me to show him, which I should not have to begin with, yet I did show him. He continued to tell me that he didn't have anyone to do so. I asked him to call a manager, and he responded with not wanting to call a manager because he would get fired. I said I needed the issue resolved this evening as I fly out in the morning. He asked me to come back at 11 pm. when the next person would come in. I didn't want to be up that late, but I waited in panic that I wouldn't have a ride in the morning, and it's difficult to get Uber out there. I spoke to the night shift that came on, and she took care of it, or so I thought. She was a very nice, well-mannered, and informed lady named Mindy who could communicate well; she also informed me that the other person was new, so I felt like I would not give a bad review at that time.
