Overall a nice stay. I was on the second floor right along the railing to the stairs and right above the check in area. I had some trouble getting to sleep. Whenever somebody would walk in I could hear the doors, people talking at the front desk, or whenever somebody would walk up the stairs. Overall not a bad place and I would stay again if I was in a different area.

Last minute reservation

We were in town to see a relative that was having surgery. We have stayed at this property several times and we decided at the last minute to book a room. I searched online on a 3rd party booking site and found the rate. Knowing that rate, I called the hotel and asked for availability. The representative quoted a price $40 more than the online price. When I questioned that rate, I was told that this was the last room available. This hotel, I was told, was almost completely booked for the night, and if I booked wirh the cheaper rate, my reservation may not be honored. We took our chances with the least expensive rate and drove to the property. When we arrived, the desk clerk mentioned that it was a slow night, and the hotel was NOT booked. When we entered the room, the general appearance was clean, however, the bathroom was not. There was hair in the shower and the floor. Next time, I will be staying with a different chain.

The property was clean and the breakfast was good as well as the night service when checking in. The hotel is dated but is to be expected with the price. The bottom floor however was noisy as we were beside the ice maker and there were people making noise in the hall early in the morning around 3am. Other than that it was a good place to stop when passing through

We found the location to be about equidistant from our home and our daughter’s home. We stayed at the hotel previously and it was satisfactory. We arrived and were given an upgrade to the room but the heater was leaking water and we had to be relocated.

The clerk was outstanding but the room was dirty and it was way too small to be a suite. It was more like a regular room that was converted to a suite. The furniture was clearly too big for the room and there was only a microwave and minifridge in this so called suite. Stay away from this one unless you are stranded with no other options.

Dirty & Staffing Issues

My main complaint would be the hotel is dirty and the photos are misleading. I was preparing my infant for a bath and noticed a dark ring around the tub, i grabbed a towel to confirm it was dirt and not stained, it was definitely dirty. Housekeeping took care of it. I also had other family members staying in other rooms and they complained of dirty bed linen and towels. There is also only one small wastebasket in the bathroom and if you are on diaper duty it’s highly inconvenient because they don’t clean the room daily. it’s cleaned every 3days if memory serves me correctly. I purchased my own trash bags. There is no one available at the front desk as it seems as though the staff are either always in the back or have multiple roles, that including cleaning. I also was waiting on a ride in the lobby and a man who looked homeless and talking to himself walked in, when he got closer to the elevator he started running through the halls screaming. Luckily my ride came but this probabcoukd have been avoided if someone was at the front desk. Bring your own toilet paper, trash bags, towels.
