Beautiful hotel and awesome room!
It was an awesome room, we were on a top corner facing out to their Main Street. Chris at the desk was great and super efficient. We didn’t get to fully enjoy the beautiful downstairs but hopefully next trip!

Beautiful historical hotel
Overall hotel is a great place to stay. It is pet friendly so we noticed some hair on some of the chairs and pillows. The bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped. There was hair in all the corners and spots on the floor. A table would be nice in our room.Other than that, it is a beautifully rennovated hotel with a lot of history.

Cute & quaint hotel, which fits well with the theme of the town. Had very e Friendly, engaging desk staff. Nicely appointed room with comfy bed/pillows. Elevator. Has a coffee shop attached and very good old-time restaurant & bar right across the street.

A real gem
The new owners have done a superb job renovating this classic hotel. No creaky floors or thin doors. Air conditioning worked great. I especially liked their preservation of the wonderful, large lobby with comfortable furniture and a grand piano that was actually in tune. This is a great place. 2 suggestions which are not criticisms: the music in the bar is too loud for conversation; a grab bar in the shower would be nice.

We liked the free breakfast option across the street. The desk person didn't answer the phone and I had to go down and spent ten minutes looking and calling out hello until she finallly came. She had to come up and set up our password for the hulu on the tv which would have been nice to know when we checked in that the only option was hulu. She also didn't tell us where to park.

Nice retro hotel
We had a very nice two room suite on top floor. We were on the Main Street side but the traffic noise died down early in the evening. This was our second stay. Not a fan of pet friendly policy due to barking dogs.

We've stayed at this hotel several times on our way from AZ back to WA in the spring and will do so again. Tonopah is a cute little former mining town, and the Belvada is a nice combo of historic and totally refurbished. We appreciate that instead of cable TV, they have streaming options. Lots of places to eat nearby. Our favorite pub (Tonopah Brewery) was closed (Monday), so we ate at the Mizpah. The ambiance is interesting, but the food, though fine, wasn't special enough to be worth the $$$. You park in the open lot in back, and we've never had a problem with break-ins. Tonopah also has some fun stores for Western wear.

Tonopah is a quirky tiny charming and slightly scary town. The Belvada is an old historic property but everything was just fine. They had the best bath towels ever. And there is a basic little gym right next door that’s complimentary for guests. We stopped for 1 night on our way to Tahoe. I’m sure we’ll be back.
