This is such a beautiful hotel in a prime location. Whether it's a weekend lovers getaway or a busy business trip, Hotel Topeka has it all. Although on the more pricey end of things it's worth every penny in the end. To the friendly and helpful staff to the hardworking and thorough hospitality crew. Hotel Topeka is the place to stay when getting Away.

I found what looked to be mold on our air vent in our room as I was packing up to leave. When I mentioned it to front desk staff when checking out they offered no sort of apology or discount for the inconvenience and health risk to my 10 month old daughter!

Overall, very pleased.
Everything about our stay was great! The hotel was packed for the weekend with many events, but it was still pretty quiet. The check-in staff was great and quickly took care of some issues with our third-party reservation. The only issue was at the breakfast when 2 out of the 3 days we ate there the coffee was allowed to run empty and people were waiting or left because it took a long time to brew another giant urn. The breakfast attendant wasn't as attentive to the job as I would have expected. Other things under their purview were also a bit neglected, such as the glasses available for juice weren't refilled when the stack was gone. Otherwise, we stay here frequently and have never been unhappy with our stay! Like the pool--wish there was a hot tub.

Everyone who works at this hotel is friendly and very accommodating. The biggest issue is that the hotel is tired. Our room smelled like old smoke. Probably in the upholstery. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fairly run down. And it’s not near much except for the events center.

Nice room in a nice building.
We could not find a reasonable price on a hotel, I guess there were events in the area that had driven prices up. I booked here with the attitude that we get what we pay for and was pleasantly surprised to find a nice clean room with an old classy feel in the building. The pillows my only complaint as they were what we refer to as envelopes, they were squishy.
